***ROCKSTARS*** Last year Gilberts Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new electric furnace. There was a problem with it. Todd and his crew worked with me to correct the problem Not only did they fix it they went above and beyond my expiations. They installed a gas furnace which was a significant upgrade to my existing furnace. Not only did the give me a upgrade but did it at no charge. The employees were professional and knowledgeable. You can count on Todd as he was a gentlemen and man of his word.

I had Gilbert Heating come out a few years ago to diagnose why my furnace wasn't staying on, and the technician determined that it was a relay on the control board that was sticking, and demonstrated to us that we could tap the relay with a screw driver to make it kick on. I didn't have the cash to pay the ridiculous $500+ they wanted to install a new circuit board, so we opted to deal with this hassle until I finally got sick of it. I contacted them again, expecting to be able to just have them order a new circuit board and come install it, but Chris wanted to charge me for another service call, stating they didn't have any documentation on the circuit board. I didn't feel that it was fair to be charged for the same thing twice so I argued, feeling entitled to just a little more, after having 3+ furnaces installed through them over the course of two decades and two houses. Chris at one point told me "It is what it is, I'm not going to sit here and argue with you." You're right Chris, you're not - I'll take my business elsewhere. Because it was clear to me at that point that this man, and perhaps this entire establishment doesn't care about customer satisfaction. He could have offered to meet me halfway, or at the least just stood his ground and said "Sorry, I can't help you." I also recall having them out to my house a year or two prior for a leaky kitchen faucet, and was told the repair would cost $300+, with $70 of that being for parts. I'm not a plumber but this was so offensive to me that I decided to buy the $20 part myself, and I had the job done in 10 minutes. These guys are a joke. They over charge and they do not respect the customers they service. At all.

Started out great but I never received my quote for new furnace install. Salesman never returned my calls. What would have been a sale ended up a very dissatisfied review.
