  Gems did a great job of getting my heater and ac back working. I was very impressed with there honesty and quality of work. I bought low budget furnace expecting quality results from a local heating and cooling company years back after being told it was one of the better ones. It went out last winter. Gems had to shop around for all the right parts and they were honest about all my options, it's great to know there are still great contractors around that are willing to take care of customers and not take advantage of them. Gems is now on my call first list for all of my heating and cooling needs.

  Heated only by wood burning for over 30 plus years. Now older and all the associated work with wood burnng, I decided to eliminated the dependency on wood in my cottage/home as well as two Modines in my combination garage and shop. All said it was very difficult to get anyone to respond to either reply back or even look at. Others who looked at were reluctant to get back to me as it was no standard installation. Furnace work had to be installed in a confined 5' tall area, installed horazontally making it a more difficult installation. Others wanted to do it in ways that might have been easier for them but not best for my situation. One of my calls was to Gem Heating found in the local newspaper add. Call was returned in a timely matter and a set time to look at. In a very short time I felt very comfortable with Mike from Gem as along with my wants and his professional suggestions and giveing me what I wanted and not the easy way out. Quote was received in timely matter considering how busy all the trades are. Gem heating was not the lowest quote but the profession of the prework made my decision to go with. Both Mike and dad Dave did a job of installing a high efficient furnace as well as the two Modines. as well as Central Air. that I know could not have been surpassed. VERY PLEASED and HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
