This company is one of the worst companies that I have dealt with. Last year I decided to finally get my mom an A/C unit, given she has never had one. I wanted to stick with a local company to help out the community, especially during the pandemic. Well, that was probably the worst decision ever. Since the beginning we have had issues with their customer service not answering or returning the calls, the technicians not being knowledgeable with installing the system, and even the system not working properly. Multiple times we called to get a technician to fix it but never were they able to actually get anything done. My electricity bill accumulated to the thousands and I finally demanded they come and fix it. Turns out they had a bad install and both the heater and a/c were working at the same time so it never fully cooled or heated. When they fixed it, they ended up tearing part of my wall that I had just gotten remodeled. Please do not use this company

Where is the 0 stars option? My builder used this company to do my HVAC units and because of this, I have had to deal with them over an over again. This company does not honor warranties. They installed two HVAC units in my brand new home. In one of the units, they installed it with a plate that is always removed before installation. I did not have AC going through to my vents on one side of the house for quite some time before they figured out they installed it with the plate in (something one of their technicians said he had never seen anyone do in all his years). Once it was removed, despite there being some air flow, the unit never cooled like the identical other unit in the house did. The coils never got as cold as the other ones either. It was always off, meaning just never worked equally as the other one did. So they kept sending technicians out doing different things to my brand new home, mostly tests to try to fix it supposedly. They have damaged my home greatly without repairing it yet. Their technician told me and others within the home that the unit needed to be replaced. But instead of doing replacing the unit, they just kept coming back to do different tests or different “solutions”. This was extra troublesome as this all has been happening through a pandemic. I very much didn’t like them coming in my home to just never fix the issue. Then the owner tried to have that same technician that told me that the unit needed to be replaced come back to do more tests and blame it on my windows of the house “leaking”. The builder then had the windows checked but there were no leaks, as expected. After many visits, G&C finally said they would replace the unit. They gave me two options, I could pay ~$2500 to have a bigger unit in the house on that side or I could pay nothing to have a brand new identical unit installed. I chose the identical unit as it is supposed to work if it is not damaged or not working. G&C said before they install it, they required that I sign a document they prepared stating they would replace the unit BUT they’re not going to be liable for their installation and all warranties with them would be voided, including no warranty on installation... again, that is no warranty on their installation despite the fact that they installed it wrong in the first place. 🤦🏽♀️ Obviously, I cannot sign this document. So after 9 months of this company jerking me around, there’s still no resolution. The office ladies say they will call you back and almost never do. They will turn off their phone lines and text you saying that their phones suddenly don’t work after you’ve called them a few times. Sometimes they just pick up and hang up. This company is one I would avoid at all costs and if building a new house I would ask the builder to specifically not work with this company. If all goes well, you’re fine I’m sure but if you’re unlucky like I was and ANYTHING goes wrong, be prepared to hire a lawyer to get results. I am on that step currently. This was the shortened version even, this has been a living nightmare having to work with this company. I hope to update this review in the future with some good news and maybe the owner, who the builder refers to as Pablo, actually upholding the warranty. If it allows I will also include the document they wanted me to sign in order to fix the issue... obviously, I would have to be bonkers to sign this. Putting this in case of when I press next, if it allows me to put pictures - if not, it is pictured on my Facebook review. : pictured is only one of the areas of the house that they’ve left damaged for months now - where I have had insulation raining from the ceiling. This room was supposed to be my toddler’s bedroom but obviously I cannot have this right now so I put my father in there for the time being... not that I’m comfortable with insulation raining on my father though either but at least i know he won’t stick it in his mouth. I will try to add another photo later of the molding they damaged when taking out the plate and the scuffs on the floor they left.

If I could give this company no stars I would. They do not even warrant one star. While one of their technicians was very nice and considerate, his boss and the staff they have working in the main office demonstrate the worst kind of customer service and compassion that I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. They left us hanging for a day and a half in El Paso in 100° weather with no air conditioning & with no communication as to what the status was of the repairs that needed to be done. When we finally reached out to them at 2:30 in the afternoon, after waiting since 10 AM, and with multiple promises of being “on their way” and not showing up or calling, they informed us that it was “too late in the day to guarantee repairs would be done until the following day “. The second company that we called, immediately came out and assessed the problem correctly, contacted us multiple times to give us a status on the parts availability, and came out first thing the following morning. I would never recommend this company for any service in the future.
