  Shopped around for a new HVAC system and received a variety of quotes. In the end, it came down to exceptional customer service with Jeff, who sat down with me for over an hour and went through everything. Clearly this was someone who cared about the company he worked for as much as he cared about the my HVAC. It was a surprise and refreshing. Their installers were fine - they did their job (not the most personal, but then again, I really didn’t need them to be ). After the install, a really nice service tech named William came by for a quality assurance check and walked me through the entire unit. He was another exceptional employee. If you’re looking for peace of mind and a family owned business who care about the people they employ, go with Fulford. We signed a deal on Friday, and it was installed the following Tuesday.

  We had a new HVAC system just installed by Fulford and we were extremely pleased all the way from the quote, installation , and HVAC testing and clean up . After getting multiple estimates Jeff offered us the best quality HVAC system ( American Standard) and fair price so we went with them and we’re not sorry . Jeff also took the time to ensure current ducting was adequate , as we needed some adjustments there as well since I wanted to go to a 2 stage system which turned out a good way to go . All were very professional and trained staff and it showed for sure all the way thru the process . Nate, Mike and Matt were installers, and were very careful thru the removal of the old unit and new install process , as well as the post clean up ! Will was the service tech and he did an amazing job fine tuning and final adjustments after the install .Will also took a lot of time educating my wife and I myself for proper use of the system so we can ensure a long system life . Hats off to Fulford and we highly recommend to all !

  My wife and I had just relocated to North Carolina and moved into our new home. The HVAC unit was replaced by the previous owners 8 months prior. We noticed the house had cold temperatures in some rooms, hot in others and some vents were lacking in air flow. Fulford was recommended to me by another contractor who did great work, so I called them. Jeff M the salesman came over, we looked over the duct system and determined the duct sizing and layout was inadequate to handle the 5 ton unit. Jeff did a survey of the home, heat load calculations, duct size airflow etc. and did a preliminary design of a system that would supply adequate air flow. Jeff and Justin Fulford, the owner, then refined the system design. The main trunk had to be re designed, re positioned, new supply and return plenums had to be fabricated and larger return ducting was needed to handle the airflow requirements. The installers and technicians came and removed the entire duct system and began to assemble the new system in the attic. An entire ducting system replacement in an attic is no small task. Justin came to the job site to review the installation. As I have some knowledge of HVAC I was talking with the techs Matt H. and Matt C. and their technical knowledge of HVAC systems was superb. The crew of Nate M, Ben W, Campbell J, and Zack M as well as Matt H and Matt C did a quality installation with attention to detail. The entire system was up and running in 2-1/2 days! The installers and techs were all highly qualified professional and courteous. The job was complete, the debris removed and the install site was completely cleaned up. The home now has balanced airflow and temperature. If you need HVAC work done, I highly recommend Fulford Heating and Air conditioning. 5 stars is not enough. Ed and Jean Felix
