**Thank you for the reply but there are no excuses acceptable for the way I was talked to and treated. I have since found another local family business that is willing to be of help and assistance. Shame on me for trying to support your family business for 3 weeks. I believe I was more then understanding and patient.*** After a recommendation to have a repairman come look at my clothes washing machine, I called and scheduled an appointment. The verdict was I needed a new part and he would return to fix it. I appreciated his service therefore I decided to call and order a new dishwasher because I thought they seemed trustworthy and competent and I wanted to support local small business. The day of the next service call to replace the part he never showed up nor returned mine or the office’s phone calls. The next day The owner called me and sent someone else down to make the repair however in his words “if I would have been on this call the 1st time I would have known the transmission and gear box is done”. So I called Bill and ordered a clothes washing machine along with the dishwasher. Due to the inconvenience, and lack of communication I experienced, I requested for an additional compensation/discount. He offered me $40 but kept playing around with numbers and told me he would call me back on Saturday. Never got a call back even after leaving a message on Tuesday. Called again on Wednesday. Conversation ended with he was cancelling my order because he felt I didn’t want to do business. How? If I didn’t it’s my right to go where I want and if I didn’t then why was I still trying to give them a chance to make it right. So if this is how you want to be treated because I didn’t come into the store and was doing it over the phone….a sale is a sale but obviously not to them. Poor communication and not true to their word or commitment.

Kimberly, expressed in our phone conversation, we're sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with our company. As you can tell from over 90% of our reviews, customer service has always been and will continue to be a priority. Our company, as well as most, is trying to do much more with less. This, unfortunately is the pandemic world we are all living with at this time. One of the things that has suffered the most, because of staff constraint's and Covid issues, has been good communication. There's simply not been enough hours and manpower for our expected standard of good communication. We are aware of the problem and we're working to correct the issue. I'm sure our technician didn't show up to your home late on purpose. Many times jobs, like before yours, take more time than anticipated. I'm also sure he didn't misdiagnoses your problem on purpose. In light of both issues, another technician was sent to your home and your were not charged for either visit. You did place an order for a new washer and dishwasher, but you also expressed additional compensation was deserving beyond the n/c service call and the additional $40 that was offered . After conversations, on at least two occasions concerning additional compensation, it was very clear that the frustration we were both experiencing was going to make a good working relationship almost impossible. For this reason the order was cancelled. We never want lose a customer, but in our 51 years of business we have found there are occasions where this is the best solution for both the customer and our company.

My fiancé has called this place a few times to get help with different things. Someone’s always busy and either isn’t available right now or has to check something but reguardless we never get a call back. I called 4 times( we were suppose to get a call back) within the last 2 days to talk to someone about my boiler system and getting it lite and the first three times we called the guy was busy. The fourth time I called he answered and said he had to see how the day went but he would call us back within the next hr or 2. We never received a call back. In prior years we have called and received a call MONTHS later. If they can’t answer your question off the bat do not bet in a call back.

Georgia, in checking our pending service requests I'm not finding an open order for service under your name, possible it's may be under your fiancé name. In a normal day we receive over 200 phone calls and we try our best to return calls for questions on repairs, but call backs for any scheduled service request take priority . With the current staffing problems almost every company is facing, both from the pandemic and a unwillingness for people to work, tasks such as returning phone calls has become much more of a challenge. However your point is well taken and we will continue to search for qualified individuals for our team, so we can better address issues such as the one you've described.
