  What a great experience working with Fred's Heating and AC! This a 3 generation business that started with Paul's father and now includes Alex, Paul's son who is a brilliant service and installation engineer. We met Paul and knew right away that this was a professional outfit that did fine work, Paul was extremely knowledgeable and has been in the business since he was very young. This was not a flashy salesperson in loafers carrying a laptop and a sales pitch - this was a real life HVAC man who had grown up in the business. He assured us that although the furnace retrofit over an old unit would be challenging, they would do a good job and we would be pleased. It was a real mess down in the furnace room with an ancient furnace that was oversized with crazy wiring and ductwork, but when Alex and his team were done it looked like a million bucks. Every corner of their fine ductwork neat and clean, all the wiring updated, every attention to detail from the moment they arrived to cleanup, Alex said notice the nap is still left in your carpet the installation area was immaculate. The team at Fred's is neat and clean, very energetic, knowledgeable and pleasant to have around. They are hard working. Their work vehicles are well maintained and clean and neat. They care about their customers and it really shows. I am a third generation HVAC person myself and so I am very picky about having a high quality job since I know that air quality and good equipment are very important to health and comfort. I hope you have the opportunity to meet Paul and Alex and I assure you that you will be well satisfied with Fred's, they will do a good job for you. February Update: Alex installed a new gas water heater to replace the existing electric one in an unheated space in our home. He showed us a thermal visual of how much heat the water heater was losing in the space and discussed the benefits of moving to a new efficient gas water heater in the furnace room. He and Cody did a magnificent install and we are so happy with their work. You wouldn't believe the difference it makes to have a new furnace and water heater not only for the appearance but also the comfort throughout the home. Alex also regulated the fan speed and did a complete inspection of the heating system. Fred's does very high quality HVAC work and Alex is an HVAC genius.

  Recently used Fred's Heating and AC and Alex did the work on our house for furnace, plumbing, AC. I want to report what a great job he did on all the work he did here. Excellent service, great to work with, and if you are ever in need of someone you can trust, don't hesitate to call Fred's, they have been around a long time, 3 generations, with an impeccable reputation for quality work, we have referrals from neighbors who agree they are one of the best in the area. He is very meticulous. I definitely recommend Fred's. Alex is also a licensed plumber.

  Paul and Alex from Fred's helped me out of a real bind with a furnace that decided to die. They came out on very short notice when my tenants reported no heat (during a very cold snap) and got the system going short term, but it was clear the furnace would need to be replaced, so we scheduled a time in a few weeks to get that done. Unfortunately, the unit stopped working for good yesterday and Paul was able to work me in to get a new furnace installed today! His crew was on time, friendly and efficient and the tenant said they did a superb job and the house is toasty warm again. Earlier in the season I called on Paul for my primary residence and another rental property - both times he was able to quickly fix the issues. Even when I had to call him on a Sunday in the evening, he was able to help me out. I can't say enough about Fred's Heating and AC - I've worked with other local companies in the past, there's no comparison!
