  Four Winds was great to work with. Replaced a rooftop package unit, rooftop AC, and new furnace in the same day. This included coordinating for crane services for the rooftop units, with no impact on our neighbors. Follow-up service for tuning and instruction were prompt and on time. Great experience overall!

  Erik and Four Winds Heating and Air Team, What a pleasure it has been to work with every single member of your team. We cannot thank you enough for the excellent service we received over this past six days. Our 26 year old furnace died a horrible death and we called Four Winds as our one our three companies to provide a quote less than 24 hours before the major snowstorm that dumped 12" of snow on the Michiana region a few days ago. First, your dispatch team was immediate - IMMEDIATE! They scheduled Erik to come out within a few hours of my call. Erik arrived exactly when they said he would. I think what I appreciated the most about Erik is that he truly listened to our needs. My husband couldn't be home with me to hear all the companies "sales pitches" and one of your competitors took issue with that. Not Erik. He listened while I explained our plans for this fixer-upper of a home that we purchased last year and made helpful suggestions about how to properly size our new furnace and things to consider when we opened up the garage in to living space. Erik didn't sugar coat the challenges we would have with the new edition and understood that we wanted to plan for the future while also being in a bind right now needing a new unit. He explained things carefully. He didn't talk down to me (Sonja) or try to convince we we didn't need things we didn't need. He even set a time to return with Jerry (the ductwork guru :-)) to talk about the necessity/possibility of adding a return upstairs and to talk about how the quotes offered could potentially effect our addition later this summer. Jerry was also impressive. He made really helpful suggestions and also explained things to me in a way that was easy for me to rehash with my husband later. He explained how ductwork angles and turns can affect duct sizing and draw air from one part of the house to another. He also made sure we would have ample clearance from our gas meter and explained how the outside pipe would run and how our new a/c pad would work. Your quotes were absolutely competitive, but that's not the biggest reason we chose Four Winds. We chose you because of your people - bottom line. You guys took such great care of us. You treated us like your neighbors and not like a sale or an up-sale opportunity or a "sure thing" since we obviously needed a new system and there was a major storm coming in the middle of winter. We felt none of those things - we just felt well taken care of. The whole install team (Chris, Garrett and Kenny - and maybe another that I'm forgetting...) went above and beyond: ensuring the condenser coil arrived from Lansing, arriving on time at install day, laying down tarps to walk equipment through the house, making sure I understood the equipment. Jerry even stopped by to make sure everything was going great. To top it all off, I had gotten my SUV stuck in the snow in our driveway and those guys helped push it out saving us a tow bill.   Stephanie and Scott were very helpful with answering questions and scheduling our AC replacement. Chris and Garrett provided excellent service and solved all of our issues. Their prices are very reasonable and their staff is great! I would recommend them to anyone!
