  Forsyth Appliance Repair is a contractor associated with GE appliances and their warranty work. They came out on Monday , November 4, 2019. They have only one team of appliance repair folks. They diagnosed the problem and said they would have to order a part. On Thursday November 7, 2019, their scheduler called to say the part had come in. But they would not be able to install until Tuesday November 12, 2019. It seemed odd to me that it would take 5 more days to respond, considering how long I had already waited for the repair. They asked me for a good time on that Tuesday. I mentioned 1 pm, because normally I am done with work at 1 pm. However, it turned out that my dispatch was different that day and held me longer. Scheduler said they could not work with me and flex the schedule a little later because of this unforeseen development. Ended up having to wait till Wednesday, November 13 to have the part installed. Installers were late. They put the part in and said they were going to leave. I asked them to wait and check to make sure the leak was actually fixed, especially considering how long it had taken to get the appliance repaired. They blamed GE. I said I was not interested in excuses, just was not satisfied with the response time--(-and I mean the extra time they took that was not due to GE delay). They refused to wait and left in a huff. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER FOR YOUR APPLIANCE REPAIR NEEDS. THEY ARE INFLEXIBLE, AND INSENSITIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THE PUBLIC. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PROVIDER. Because of their inadequate staffing levels and rigid schedule-Nazi approach, I had to wait more than 2 weeks to get my dishwasher finally repaired. That is WAY too long. And they wanted to blame GE, when some of the delay is clearly their fault.

  This company is awesome! Three weeks ago my LG refrigerator fan stopped working and it was making very loud noises. Another local company came out and gave us a very high quote, wanted to order 4 different parts, and they weren't quite sure what was wrong with it. When Forsyth appliance came to my house it was quickly fixed within the hour and no parts needed to be ordered. Customer service was great! They were well within their allotted window, and they answered all of my questions!
