BEST hospital I’ve ever been too. I’ve been here twice and each time is over the moon amazing. Cape fear could NEVER. I walked in, the receptionist was so sweet, I got taken back 5 MINUTES into me sitting down in an clean empty waiting room. I immediately get into a big clean room, the nurse takes my vitals. 5 minutes into that, the doctor comes in and checks me out and tells me right there what I have. I’m now waiting on antibiotics and I’m going home. A whole 30 minutes. At cape fear emergency room, my sister had to wait in the waiting room after being taken in by the ambulance when she had sepsis. They leave their patients in the hallways even if they have a life threatening problem that is contagious. NEVER EVER go to cape fear..

This was our first visit to this facility, FirstHealth of Hoke County. My husband was there for MRI. Although unexpected things happened (not the fault of the facility) the Information Desk staff were so courteous and helpful. I wish I knew their names and I would recognize them personally. Karen, Radiation Technician, went over and aboard trying to resolve an issue. We left very impressed with the staff. In current times, customer service can be subpar but not the staff we encountered today. Thank you so much! Most people do recognize and appreciate kindness. Keep up the great work!

My mother was admitted for two nights on 12/13 and my brother or I was there the entire time. First of all they don’t have nurses; they are angels! Never encountered anyone , Dr or staff with anything but kindness and professionalism ! It is evident that they only employ individuals with love for patients and the medical field. Dr Brooks (after a full day, took time that evening to advise us of options! ) He’s the best! All the Er doctors should be cloned!
