FIrst time dealing with HVAC issues in a long time, and I couldn't be happier with my choice to call Fire & Ice. The came out very quickly, and did what they needed to do to diagnose and fix the problem in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, and they will be my first call if any problems arise in the future.

After having an issue first go around, Joe came back to install coolant for my AC free of charge and help with my NEST thermostat. He responded very quickly. He was extremely informative and helped reset everything that needed resetting. I really appreciated the time he spent helping to fix these issues!
Response from the owner
For the company to buy refrigerant for the local supply warehouses we have to have each employees ,Refrigerant Certification card", on file at the specific warehouses location. We do not buy refrigerant off of the internet. Joe would not buy aware of the internet process. A point that he made you aware of. After Joe was told to start the job and then stop multiple times the homeowners finally asked Joe to stop. At which point he had added 3 lbs of refrigerant. Joe had also approached the homeowner as to how much the cost of R-22 is currently at. The data plate stated that you system came with 7 lbs 12 oz of refrigerant and because your system was very low that the refrigerant cost would be approximately $875. He told you the cost estimate before he added any refrigerant. The initial concern for the system was that the Nest thermostat appeared to not be working properly. Fixing the thermostat would not have helped the performance of the system when your system is leaking refrigerant from the Schrader valve. The final discussion with the homeowner was that; Joe would address the thermostat and add your refrigerant upon the arrival of your refrigerant.
