  March 2022 - My cottage (mobile home) had a very, very old furnace. Family P&H returned my (non-emergency) call / inquiry very quickly and set up a service appointment within two days of my initial contact. I was not surprised that a new furnace was strongly recommended, based on furnace age. Price quote was better than expected and installation happened 3 days later - 5 days after initial call. (Unbelievable / very happy.) Positive experience led me to sign-up for yearly maintenance program -AND- now I have a good / trusted company that I can depend on for my plumbing and HVAC needs in the Gaylord area. Family P&H will absolutely call back and "show up". Their office staff sends plenty of reminders and updates via text and email, so you always have a sense of progress. Installers use plenty of tarps from doorway to furnace, so your place isn't "trashed". I found all to be exceptionally friendly and professional. Thanks to the entire team who enabled this success experience: Josh, Karry, Troy, Ian and John

  Needed a new boiler to replace one that was 29 years old. Troy came out and told me what my options were. I opted for the high-efficiency model. He set up an install time and we went from there. I was impressed by the excellent communications (text messages and phone calls) and professionalism of their staff. Josh, who did the installation, is a hard worker who also took the time to explain how the new boiler operates. I'm very impressed with Family P&H and will recommend them.

  First impressions are critical and they nailed it! Friendly, professional staff on the phone took my inquiry and set me up with the routine furnace service I needed...I was blown away when they said Josh could come out in two days and take care of everything. Josh arrived as planned and took care of the servicing and talked me through the process. He was knowledgeable and super- patient with all my questions. Family Plumbing and Heating certainly feels like a family business - they are very professional but their customer service is friendly from how they engage the customer to understanding what you you really need. They are more focused on providing you value than up-selling services you don't need.
