I am extremely dissatisfied with Extreme Heating and Air (JJ was tech). American Home Shield assigned the company to address knocking sounds coming from AC unit. JJ arrived and stated he heard the sound, but could only explore the issue if unit was not operating. Tech left and unit stopped working 24 hours later. I submitted a recall to the Extreme and three days (Labor Day weekend). JJ was supposed to work on unit. He arrived and stated the unit was frozen (system was off all weekend) and he left again; promising to return the next morning - No Show. Extreme Heating and Air is aware of this technician's tactics and has only delay ed my service issue another day,- NO AC 5 days and counting. I notified American Home Shield demanding this company be removed from the vendor list. I strongly recommend NOT using Extreme Heating and Air, near Reynolds, GA

If I can give them zero stars I would. Extreme Heating and Air was a vendor for my warranty company. My AC was broken and Shane, the owner, came to check it out. Number one, he asked to used my restroom and did not wash his hands when he was done. I thought that was crazy especially during these Covid-19 times. Number two, HE pulled the attic staircase down in order to check out the AC unit. After he checked the unit he came down the attic stairs and broke my stair case. He refused to pay to repair my stairs and said it wasn’t his fault. This is obscured. I don’t feel comfortable or confident in this company to repair anything. Please don’t use EXTREME HEATING AND AIR...

Scheduling was quick/easy and office personnel are pleasant and helpful. Technician (I won't name him) was polite, professional and replaced a bad condensation pump. Within 2 days, I had water all over my basement (again) and called my home warranty company to advise them. Extreme came out the second time and the technician said I had collapsed drain lines, that the warranty company would not replace them and I was quoted $350 to replace the lines. Here's my issue: Extreme had replaced the condensation pump under my home warranty in October of 2018 and the exact same technician was the one who hooked up the drain lines, My husband commented to the technician at that time that the lines looked crimped and too tight. Fast forward to 2019 - less than a year late the same condensation pump goes out? The drain lines are still crimped? I called the owner of Extreme to discuss, but he never called me back. I ended up contacting another service company...end result? Less than $200 to replace the drain lines AND to suction out a clogged P-trap, which should have been done last October and again this year when the condensation pumps were replaced. According to the independent service contractor, that would be have been proper protocol to take that replacement to its final (and satisfactory) completion of the work. I think Extreme has the ability to do a good job and if I have another warranty repair on my heating and air conditioning, I will allow them in my home again, but I will monitor the quality of the work very closely. This was a bit of a disappointment.
