The folks at Evans were great. Deanna in the office was very helpful and responsive, and the service techs did a great job on the work. The city inspector had nothing but great things to say about the job they did. We expect to have some custom work done on our furnace to solve a filter issue, and we will be sure to go with Evans for that job, as well.

Said I wanted my unit maintenanced as I've been in the house 4 years and it's never been done and I think that has something to do with my anxiety heat coming on. They get here I tell him the same thing and he says we will get it figured out for ya. He did do a good job went under the house and everything. Then says I have a leak and it's 222 to wave a leak detection gun around the unit and 100 a pound of freon. Then he says oh and it could use a cleaning. I said wait I thought that's what u were already doing? He said no its 99 just to diagnose. Then I call the office to try and clear up any confusion and they just say we'll he already diagnosed the problem so that's 99 and if you want him to clean it that's another 125. But if he had just cleaned it like I wanted to begin with then he would have found the problem that way and my unit would be cleaned. Her answer was try to get me to join their monthly membership plan. I am not interested in having them back to my house after this. No apologies for the confusion or anything and then you just try to milk me for more money. No thanks.

Good morning. I have pulled your call records and this is what is showing. "CUSTOMER STATES THAT DUKE POWER DONE AN ENERGY AUDIT ON HER HOME AND IT IS SHOWING THE AUX HEAT IS CUTTING ON WAY TO MUCH OR RUNNING CONSTANTLY". This is when you were advised that we would come out and do a diagnostic on the unit. The call does not show that a maintenance was requested. Maintenances are a different request. If a maintenance was requested and an issue was found, there would have been additional charges associated with the call. This is the same at any HVAC company. When I spoke with you I stated the diagnostic price and advised that if any issues were found we would charges for any parts, labor, or Freon needed. I also advised that these items would not be preformed without your prior approval. When a Freon leak is detected it is a costly repair. I do apologize for any confusion. When you called into the office and spoke with our dispatch team they did apologize for the issues you were calling about.

Evans Air Services has taken great care of us for 7 years now! Owners Tim & Lisa are friendly, helpful & very professional. We had an old, out-of-date gas pack serviced and eventually replaced. The techs were professional and worked into the night to install the new unit. All staff has taken time to educated us (1st time home buyers). Now we are referring Evans to my grandparents who need a new HVAC. Lisa kindly offered window units to help keep them cool while we wait on install day. Thank you Evans for your care! Your company is the gold standard for customer service & professionalism. We are grateful!!
