Eric Smock is a great smaller local company. Their customer service is efficient and prompt and the techs they send to the house for routine maintenance under the service plan we bought are all knowledgeable and really nice younger guys. The technicians are all happy and pleasant in their work which is probably a reflection of a good employer who treats and pays them well. I’m a transplant to Maryland and my lifetime Frederick County resident neighbor recommended them to me and I’m glad he did.

Eric Smock Heating & Air installed our Trane HVAC unit in 2014, and it's been running like a champ. We signed up for their bi-annual maintenance program, and we perceive it as a good value. The Eric Smock technicians are almost always personable and give us tips about the various things we can do to keep our system running well between visits. Our tech today, Kevin, was one of my favorites for being pleasant and kind about our dog wanting to jump all over him, while also showing me how to periodically reboot the digital thermostat when it gets slow.

This company was very responsive getting someone out here quickly so we would have heat again in the cold weather. Kevin was super nice and fixed our HVAC system quickly. He also installed a new thermostat, helped me set it up, and fixed a noise the air was making in the duct.
