  I have used Elgin’s for close to 30 years on many many different projects in the Henry and Bureau county area . I have always found Kevin to be honest, accommodating, willing to come out to repair things when no one else wood . If he couldn’t fix until the parts came in he would take my tenants electric heaters . His prices are very fair and reasonable. I just hope he will take care of my heating and cooling needs for many years to come .

  High recommendation from us in Sheffield! Called after our furnace quit. Kevin scheduled to come take a look, showed up on time, gave us a really decent price to replace it. They came back couple days per schedule, on time and got right to it. Quick, clean, neat, fast, and professional. Price was exactly as discussed, no hidden or surprise costs. Will be calling them for any HVAC services in the future, and recommend you do too.

  Rude. Sold me a used bad part. didn’t offer to refund me my money. Then abruptly ended our conversation when I told him someone else fixed it. Next time I’ll call deSmits the first time

  I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. When you came to my door that night looking for the capacitor I explained to you I had no new ones in stock just the used parts. I honestly had heard nothing from you since then about the part at all until you texted me about 10/15 minutes ago telling me it didn’t work. I did offer you a A different one to try. And then you didn’t respond to that at all. The only time I felt I might have been a little rude was when you threatened to call the police on me and told me to quit getting a hold of you. we did not abruptly end the conversation sir I’m afraid that was you. I am still willing to give you a different part if you’re interested customer is a customer and Elgin’s has always believed in good customer service.
