Installed new upper and lower units months later faulty coil or incorrectly installed coil a/c leaked for months electricity bill through the roof billed me hundreds to refill freon then covered the coil replaced it 6 months later say i owe them 600$ stay far away ...try hunter instead once again like i said i payed for their mistakes through freon and electricity bills while my new compressor leaked with the coil didnt charge me for the compressor labor bc its your responsibility for faulty installation or faulty equipment same goes for the coil so why try and bill me in October when the warrantied coil was replaced in april which is your responsibility just like the compressor was so why bill me for one and not the other bc i payed well over $600 in freon and electric bills from bad work or bad equipment either way its a cost incurred by running a business.
Response from the owner
We are very sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the service provided. The system was installed in August of 2018. Parts are covered under manufacturer's warranty for 10 years, the labor warranty provided by Eldridge AC & Heat is 1 year. Regardless, you did not receive an invoice for labor when we changed the compressor in November of 2020, and were billed for labor only (no Freon) when we changed the evaporator coil under warranty in April of this year. *We've never at any time billed you for Freon on the new system, only in May of 2018 on the previous system. As I stated, the Trane parts warranty is in effect and the parts have been covered. Labor and Freon charges for repair are an industry standard. Yvette Hinze, Office Manager.

Called to see if someone could come out to do an evaluation of our ac unit that wasn’t working and what our homeowners insurance company needed to move forward in whether to repair or replace the system. Was told to call another company because they dealt with insurance in the past and did not like the outcome. So would not recommend if you plan to use your homeowners insurance. I know insurance wouldn’t pay for everything but if you are willing to pay the difference why should it matter.

Today they finished putting in a new unit and brand new duct work in my house. Yvette was very nice and helpful. They also showed up with a big crew and got to work. The crew was very friendly. I heard the workers calling one the guys "the legend" and said he could do anything with ac work. Lol. I highly reccomend eldridge and hope if i need warranty work, they are just as good.
