  I used this company because they bought out the old company who installed my new furnace, oil tank and AC unit a little over a year ago. I had nothing but problems with the old company and their installation and a lingering oil smell in my house they couldn't really diagnose. Needless to say, I was not happy. The new company, Gochnauer, sent over a technician, JASON, who was wonderful and ended up figuring out what was wrong when no one else could. JASON was great. He was professional and knowledgeable and worked incredibly hard to figure out what was wrong. I could tell he knew what he was doing. JASON took the time to show me exactly what was wrong and walk me through it in a way I could understand. It's hard to find someone who you can just tell is honest and cares about doing a good job. His work was great and he was a pleasure to talk to. Very friendly and open. I enjoyed meeting him. The company, including the owner, was great in working with me to fix what turned out to be shoddy workmanship from the last company. They really took care of me. I would definitely use them again and JASON as my technician. I would recommend them to anyone.

  We purchased a new dishwasher from Home Depot and they have a outsourced company come in to install it which was Gochnauer &Sons. Holden was the young man that came out and seen we needed pipes replaced under sink and was very good and efficient at replacing them and getting our dishwasher in! We are very pleased with the service we got and will be contacting them to do some other work we need around the house!

  My family is currently dealing with the aftermath of my father's recent stroke. I live out of the area and it has been stressful for me to make sure that he and his wife are safe, comfortable, and happy. Last week, their heating system stopped working. I called several HVAC companies in the Central PA area and after hearing our situation (an out-of-town Power of Attorney calling for incapacitated clients with a nursing staff on site) - no one wanted to take this job. Thank goodness my third call was to EH Gochnauer. A very professional and understanding representative listened to the situation and made absolutely certain that there would be service to the residence that afternoon. In her words, "That's what our owner would want us to do." A comment like that speaks volumes about the values of your company, and at that point you had our family's business. HVAC contractor Jason came to the house and did a FANTASTIC job in a chaotic situation. First, he fixed the heating problem quickly and effectively. Second, the nursing staff at the house reported that he had a very polite and comforting manner with everyone in the house. He also took the time to show them how to use the back-up system. Lastly, Jason called me before and after the work to explain what needed to happen that day and to provide insight on what maintenance/upgrades were appropriate in the future. His explanations to me were clear and informed, and he did a great job of imparting detailed technical information over the phone. Most importantly, he showed tremendous sensitivity in recognizing that our family's focus right now is helping my father be comfortable. Jason is an excellent representative of your company. P.S.
