Called this business for a price quote on a repair. Person who answered phone was rude and disrespectful, as well as mumbled. I did make out through the mumbling that he wanted to charge a 50.00 diagnostic fee when the problem was already known and visible.I wouldn’t bother with this shop. Bad experience!

      Response from the owner

This rebuttal is in response to you Maudie McAteer, we have no idea who you are and what this review is about. The day this review was written, we were extremely busy and to the charge of $50 diagnosis, we go by industry standard diagnosis software by the name of Mitchell 1. If you were wanting to have a leak checked, a running problem or a driving problem checked, it would have to be diagnosed and $50 is a half hour of diagnosis which is completely fair. And to the fact that you said the problem was already known and visible, we didn't know that and were not physically able to look it because the vehicle was not here, so how are we able to know what it is without looking at it? You were never here to experience anything so how was it a bad experience? In closing, you listed this a steering/ suspension problem which is a safety issue and needs to be addressed by more than a phone call. This is a ridiculous review, and there was no service performed.

I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy! First they quoted me $60.00 for a diagnosis and theu said it was my coils amd charged me $150.00 . Then he tells me he can replace the coils for $1000.00! I was in tears. I called the dealership i bought it from and they laughed at this price. Not only did the dealership replace the coils but the spark plugs too!. All totaling $200.00! These people are cons! They act all nice but theyre snakes! Dont trust these people!

      Response from the owner

Hi Kimberly, This is Veronica, I appreciate your input, we worked on your car 1-6-21 and at that time you were informed that it would be $60-$150 to diagnose the issue with your car. You were happy with that, and I gave you a ride home. We checked your car, it had the code P0300 and the vehicle ran extremely rough, we checked the misfire monitors and it showed multiple cylinders misfiring, we removed the coils and spark plugs, performed a compression test, the compression was good on the engine, spark plugs looked slightly worn. We put the coils and spark plugs back in the car, we used the oscilloscope and checked to see to if the pcm was producing signal to each coil. We also checked the fuel injectors to see if they were producing signal. We removed the # 2 coil, which showed the most misfires and ran the vehicle and there was no spark being produced. At that point, we were 100% sure that the coil had failed and it took an hour and a half to figure it out which is $150.00. The point that you mention that the dealership charged you $200, we researched the price that you mention and for 1 coil the part # is UF303 which you can find at a local parts store are $90.70 a piece for 1 coil. The spark plugs part # 5068 are $11.95 a piece and that what is recommended the original equipment replacement. The labor to replace all 6 coils and 6 spark plugs is 3 hours at $100 per hour. This repair would have come with a 2 year parts and labor warranty. By our calculations, it would be mathematically impossible for them to replace all 6 coils and plugs for $200. With all due respect Kimberly, in our opinion, the dealership is the one that ripped you off. Veronica Ebel, Ebel's Auto Repair

I was raised to know what was going on under the hood of my car. Ive had many mechanics try to take advantage of me. When I took my new to me 2013 Ram 1500 pick up in to have a vehicle inspection, I knew I was in the right place. Mark the ASE certified mechanic didn't talk to me like a dumb women and was honest about what needed to be done before he could say it was a good purchase. I took back to the dealership to have them remedy some things and Mark was more than happy to take a 2nd look to ensure I had a good purchase. I absolutely will be back for simple maintenance like an oil change up to anything else that needs to be done. So nice to know there are still good honest hard working people in this town.
