I had an proposal a week before Thanksgiving. The salesmen was at my house over 2 hours after being an hour late. So that’s 3 or more hours. He said he wasn’t given my address by his office. Really. Anyway I had a brief time to be off work that morning. I had to get to work so I signed the proposal & was sent the amounts later. The proposal was over $20,000 with a discount of 2,000. I wanted new flex lines because some of them were down & there is 18 of them & I was charged 18 @ $350,00 just for that. The system was a 17 seer Lennox Elite. It took the guys 1 day to take out the used system & 1 day to put the new system in. That’s 2 days of work. I was given 10 years of warranty of parts & labor on the system & even those flex lines since they installed by them or that is what I was told. Was this a way to justify what the price is. I questioned the prices from the beginning. Also, I was told I would get a rebate from Duke Power which I haven’t received. I have tried to get this worked out & for someone to review what I was charged. I asked for a call after 4 when off work & that has never been respected multiple calls. I have been told I would be called after 4 but I never have been called when I could talk. I don’t know at this point if all the work has been performed because my system says 16 Seer Rating not 17 which that’s puzzling. I do feel like I have been overcharged. During these cold days the system hadn’t cut off any. I dread to see the power bill. I haven’t paid the entire bill because I wanted it reviewed & I’m still waiting for the call after work so I can talk. I’m not wealthy just a older person still working. Because of Covid & my health I’ve been hesitant to get a lot people for estimates in my home but I sure wish I had. I regret that. My research has told me for this system I bought was way less than what I paid comparing the same system so I feel like a fool with no recourse. I pray the installation was completed with what should you have been done but how do I really know! Still waiting.

WHAT has happened to this Eanes office?? You guys used to be SO on top of it, so professional, so courteous, so prompt... now? Like pulling teeth to get anyone to help! Trying to schedule someone to come out, someone to answer questions about a contract renewal... it required a lot of heavy-lifting just to get to someone who could assist. Cameron was quite helpful... but, don't get me started on the others I have spoken with. Honestly, you folks need to step it up. I couldn't even get to a Manager of any sort to try and work out my concerns. I really want to keep using Eanes (Andrew is fantastic and has been to the house twice over the past year and a half) but, seriously... everyone seems to just be dialing it in.

The technician was nice and professional. He said we needed a new thermostat; price installed with service call was $519. The price was way to expensive, and we paid for the service call. We called a second company, and the technician said the thermostat was OK, out our furnace was worn out. Replacement cost was $10,000 to $22,000. I have a third company coming by today. This event has left me praying for an honest company with reasonable prices.
