They came to clean my dryer vent. That went well. However, when they replaced the flaps, two of the tabs were broke. They did not tell me. We found them on the ground an hour after they left. We had to go to the hardware store to buy and replace it. They also left their ladder behind. We called them an hour after they left and 5 days later it is still in our backyard. So, dryer vent cleaning 5 stars. Cleaning up after themselves 1 star.
Response from the owner
Jennie: We apologize for the damage we caused during our service. our goal is complete Customer Satisfaction; and we fell way short of that goal at your home. We are in the process of correcting this problem so it does not happen in the future. And as we discussed we are sending you a check to cover your expenses incurred while fixing the vent cover. Jim

It required two visits to have our ducts cleaned, since the first two service technicians were very vague about vaccinations, mask usage, and answering questions regarding the filtration system of their cleaning equipment. The second appointment and crew went much smoother.I
Response from the owner
Bob: Thank you for the feedback and sorry for the confusion on the first crew. All teams will be reinstructed on the COVID procedure and filtration systems. Jim

Jim and team saved my bacon! I recently purchased a fixer upper condo and have been working to bring it up to snuff. Earlier this spring, I realized the dryer vent was lacking a cover and was a perfect location for a nest. Sure enough, I heard birds in the vent the next day. To my disappointment I found out my HOA wouldn’t cover this, and to further complicate things my vent is over 50’ in the air. I began reaching out to various handymen, roofers, and vent cleaning services. Unfortunately, the handymen (and most vent cleaners) weren’t equipped to perform this sort of work, and I don’t think any of the roofers wanted to be bothered by something so small. I was beginning to fear I would have to handle this myself when I called Ductz and reached Jim. Jim was very affable and I think he could tell I was desperate. Although they normally don’t work that high up and would have to rent equipment, he took pity on me. We scheduled a vent cleaning (and vent cover replacement) for early the next week, despite a global pandemic and a state of emergency. When Jim and his crew arrived, they were very courteous and professional. They got to work immediately, and despite the unique challenges of the situation, they had my vent cleared of all nests (I suspect the cover was missing for several years!) and installed a critter-proof cover that was very well made. They also came in to give the vent a secondary cleaning from inside, and were very respectful of my home and the fact I was working during their visit. Not only did they solve my vent cover problem, but as a result of the cleaning, my dryer finally works halfway decent. Many thanks to Jim and the whole crew who helped out! The evicted starlings were the only ones disappointed with Ductz!
