  someone came to our house when we first got here. i let them know we already had a company and would talk to them. Gave them basic info, they gave us oil without permission and then we paid a huge bill. they didn't have our social security number which I was told was needed for service. I called and no one ever got back to us after I paid the bill. Not nice to scam people who just moved in and didn't know better. Wish this didn't happen because we have a plan that will be up in soon with another company and cant even try these guys out later.

  i was very unhappy with my oil company and left them after 15 years. A friend referred me to Dixon and I have been so happy with the quality of service and reasonable pricing which was not the case with my former company. Nothing but a great experience with these people.

  I have been a customer of Dixon Energy for 20 years. During that time I have always bought my heating oil from them. Heating oil prices are competitive and, more importantly, deliveries are prompt and arrive when promised, even when I've waited until the last minute to place an order. In addition I had them install a new furnace and a new central air conditioning unit. Regardless of the requirement, my interactions with everyone at the company - from the extremely courteous woman who answers the phone (who has been there for 30 years) who fields my requests for heating oil deliveries through the service technicians who have maintained my furnace - (oftentimes on an emergency basis), to the sales associates who helped sell and install my furnace and A/C unit - have been flawless. Service calls are answered by technicians who are polite, knowledgeable and professional. I am 100% happy with the performance of my furnace and A/C unit. The real clincher are the times I did have to call for emergency service - never a fun proposition in the dead of winter - before I had a new oil tank installed, which solved my problems. Responses were always fast and always resolved the problem. Knowing I had Dixon Energy to rely on gave me peace-of-mind that was invaluable. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors and will continue to do so in the future.
