  I feel that this is as corrupt as it gets. The DA in my case hit on my wife right in front of me not knowing who I was. Jason something running for office now, what a joke. If it weren't for the clerk Connie the nicest lady in the building I would have nothing good to say. Bend over because they are coming in you......

  Am currently still awaiting trial for charges to a series of offenses on three groups of charges. The first set, now almost two years old, I was incarcerated and presented charges. I addressed in the first hearing that I am not this Travis Carson Root guy they are charging and was born over a decade before I was, yet they refuse to acknowledge false incarceration and false identification and drop the charges, which includes some serious felonies, because the police, courts across Oregon and California refuse to do their job and have dealt with the same accusations by the state for over 20 years. The latter two sets of charges are entirely fictitious as well since all the police reports, discoveries, PI interviews and court testimonials for these charges that are only a couple months younger than the first set do not describe any mens rea or actus reus of the charges. Not to mention I've he'd several issues with the police refusing to report to scenes of crimes; write me a ticket while I was in my early Army years and tell me, a then state government employee, that it's not a ticket though it even says "Citation" at the top; the first set of charges they repeatedly arrested me with telling me one reason then refusing to release when done (false arrest), arrest me a second time without Miranda Warning after already interrogating me and taking me to jail without telling me the charges for my arrest and incarceration (false arrest, false incarceration, you can not be out into jail without charges); the second set of charges I had a Deputy/"Not Deputy" wearing the Sheriff's Department Deputy uniform with my former Army leadership dressed the same threatening to tase me if I don't talk them and continued to threaten me when I complied, when being arrested I asked what my charges are (since I again wasn't Mirandized), the threatening officer (according to a pin he wore, apparently a United States Marine Corp veteran), Voll, claimed he didn't need to tell me anything and I was told when asking my charges in holding that I'm a threat to national security, but they don't know why I had about a dozen officers swarming a unarmed man and arresting them, and took almost a month of being incarcerated a second time to be presented any charges (again, false incarceration). I really wish more people would read the likes of Henry David Thoreau and Robert Ringer and see how broken and fascist our nation has been. Edit: Oh, yes, let's not forget, that while this court is working illegally in the many mena's I already expressed, while I was incarcerated that second time, they tried arguing the mental health and sent me to OSH, where the first set of medical professionals disagreed with the psychologist my court appointed attorney (Lisa Valenta, whom has been working strongly against me and despite having written two letters to this court requesting an attorney who will represent me, not the prosecuting State) had me go through, the second set disagreed with them and my follow-up with the first guy (Andy Barram) only ruled out two diagnoses but didn't offer a diagnosis but apparently I have the GEI option (again, the police band accusers have written and oral records of their claims disproving the charges claimed). I haven't been given a new attorney that actually does communicate with their client, that does give their client the case material, etc. And, while I was at OSH, I read an article in the news about one of the judges at this same court house being removed for ethics violations, and had several other "patients" tell me about how their attorneys in other counties have refused to represent them, the state refusing to appoint an attorney that will, in one cause, the attorney was so dumb the client argued himself off and the attorney claimed he was insane and the judged laughed at the attorney for saying such, and I met another fellow service member who was also falsely arrested, falsely charged, falsely incarcerated and sent to OSH and he game me some copies of the laws that these incarcerations (his & mine) violated and also sent.

  Deschutes County Courthouse is unable to be professional and impartial. During a recent small claims issue, the Judge flat out told me that yes anyone is free to post any Reviews they wish on line but that he was ruling against me, not because I had a valid claim, but because I needed to suffer the consequences of posting an unfavorable Review against the Courthouse. So being honest and complaining about provable incompetence of Court Staff, not the facts of a case, WILL be used against you. This is petty, vindictive and mean spirited as well as unprofessional, illegal and biased. The concept of being a true statesman is obviously unknown to all judges working there. They are stealing tax dollars, when they get paychecks, like we are their personal piggy bank, and posing as dedicated public officials. This vindictive policy also deprives and penalizes law abiding taxpayers of benefits, and those in charge at the Courthouse clearly act on their tiny hurt feelings not reason. They also allowed the gay partner of the person I filed against to appear at a Mediation without checking ID. That’s corrupt. It’s malfeasance. The Deschutes County Courthouse, like Trump, feel they are above the law. Public funds are no longer being used to serve the public fairly. Enter at your own risk. And remember this next time you vote. Ashby is not fit to preside.
