Day & Night installed a heating/air conditioning system in our home and did an outstanding job. Several people working on the project kept me informed and did their work extremely well. Everything was cleaned up and the unit works superbly.

- Monday, 1.17: C. came out to begin flushing our water heater. During the process, he found that we had a valve that needed replacing. Frustrated, but sometimes these things happen. He gave me an estimate, and said he could come back the next day. I accepted, and we agreed that he would come on Tuesday, 1.18, at 5:00 to do the work. For some reason, C. did not arrive at 5:00, called to say he would be here by 5:45, and at about 7:00 pm, my wife called to cancel because we still hadn’t seen him. - Saturday, 1.22 - we agreed on a 10:00 appt. My wife called just before 11:00, and C. promised he would be here by 11:30. He arrived at 12:00. I showed him to the kitchen. No explanation or apology for tardiness. -He turned off the main valve. He came back up, then took three hours to do a job that he said would take 90 minutes. -When it was done, he asked me to check the water pressure in the bathroom. The pressure seemed… ok. Not great, but ok. When I came back, he asked me to try the kitchen faucet. It was a very slow trickle. I told him that was not right, that the water had been running much better before. He tried to assure me that after a water heater flush, things sometimes flow into the rest of the system, and maybe that’s why my faucet was working poorly. I said again that it was not right, that it had worked much better earlier in the day. He told me to watch a few Youtube videos and change some filters. Again, I said that it was not right. His response? “I’m not a faucet guy.” -He took his payment and left at 3:00 pm. My wife and I marveled at the ineptitude and terrible service. She called and explained our dissatisfaction with the service. On the call, the person who answered told her that if we took the faucet apart, we would find the blockage. He refused to send anyone back out to fix it. I took the faucet apart. -About 4:30, a neighbor called to tell us that our sprinkler system was spraying water. My wife answered the call, then headed outside. Water was everywhere; the side yard was flooded. -My wife shut off the water, found the flood that had been created by the valve that had been turned on and left to run for 90 minutes. Water sprayed from the brass housing, then came back into the house. Apparently, C. managed to turn on both the water to the house AND to the sprinkler system. -My wife immediately called them AGAIN and asked them to send someone back out. They said they would send C.; she asked that he not come back. They said they would send someone else ASAP. -Hours passed; we hadn’t heard from them. A tech finally called to tell us that he would not be coming because he could not find a pump to remove the water from our crawl space. He said that someone would come out Sunday. -Sunday, after NO communication from them, C., who caused the problem in the first place, AND whom we asked they not send back, came back. His opening words to me were: “I sure don’t think I caused the problem, but I’m sorry if I did.” He went down to the crawl space to inspect it, and to exactly no one’s surprise, found water. -He came back up and asked me if I would still like themto come out and try to clean up the puddles that were still there and attempt to dry things out (?!) He said he would talk to his boss and try to get someone out there Sunday or Monday (MONDAY?!). I pushed for Sunday. He said he would try. He went out to his vehicle and left. -He returned shortly, and told me that he talked to his boss and that he didn’t have anyone to send out Sunday, but they might be able to get someone there on Monday. I closed the door on him. -Monday, 1.24 came and went, and guess who never called? That’s right! Day & Night. We hope that we won’t have mold and mildew problems in our crawl space. And here’s the ultimate kick in the teeth. The kitchen faucet worked once we turned the sprinkler valve off. To sum up, we won’t be calling Day & Night for any further service, and I suggest you don’t either.

They seemed really capable the first time they came to repair our system, but it died a month later so they came back to fix it again, and now it’s dead again another month later. This will be the IR third attempt to fix it in two months. Very expensive and frustrating

As we did not install this system and the customer has had other companies out to try and repair it, we are doing everything we can to find the problem. It has a leak in it that did not immediately present itself. The 2nd time the tech was out he did find the leak but told him we would need to come back when the weather allowed due to the unit being installed on the roof and it is icy and snow covered. The customer has only been charge once but the system he has is not an easy system to work on. It will not be the 3rd attempt as on the 2nd visit the customer was told we would need to come back when the weather allowed. I have also called the customer several times to attempt to arrange a visit but we seem to not be able to reach each other.
