  Oh, where to begin…well, we’d called D&D about a specific issue with our well. The reason we called them without question was based on local recommendations. We called twice before they came and said we know it is an electrical issue. We need the electrical checked. When they did show up, they ignored what I’d said and focused on replacing the switch, because they said “we always start there first” regardless of the actual issue. Two guys showed up, and three times while I was standing there listening, the part-time associate asked the other guy, “why am I here? You could have done this yourself”. He did all the work by the way while the full-timer stood and watched him joking around…which if I weren’t paying for their time, wouldn’t been perfectly fine. After milking the full hour, the full time guy finally checked all of the wires and said, “bad news, it’s your wires”. The wires I’d asked him to check the moment he got here. So that was a colossal waste of my time and money. Oh the bill…ha! This is a hilarious one. I just got off the phone with the snottiest, rudest woman who only responded to my questions, but did not provide the answers other than to ask “did you ask about our prices before we came?” Really? That’s the best she had. Ridiculousness and highly unprofessional. No, we did not ask about the prices because we were told these people wouldn’t rip us off, apparently that is not the case. The bill, I’m getting to it. They charged me &60 for a service call. I asked what that entails and she said literally just to drive to my property. That’s it. Now based on the language, service call suggests “service”, not a drive-by. Then they double charged me labor for two guys, we only needed one, and again, we’d called several times before they arrived and explained we want THE WIRES checked. But the most laughable part about the bill, was…they charged me for gas. Gas. How exactly do they get to the “service” calls without using gasoline in their vehicles? I asked and the woman responded that it was the gas prices. Well, why not raise your “service” charge for your drive-bys instead of allowing the customer to see you’re gouging them on paper? They’re eight miles away by the way, gas is high, but not that high to charge me $12 for an eight mile ride. The total bill was $228 and change. I called another local company (which, if you google well services in or near Augusta WV, you’ll find them…you’ll see my glowing review. That company pulled my 400ft hose and well pump up, repaired it…AND were professional, friendly, they listened and explained everything to me. They were here for three hours and charged me…$271. That’s $43 more than D&D charged me to waste an hour of my time. Boy-howdy I just can’t say enough about how horrible this company is, and I’d love to keep typing as it’s the only satisfaction I’m getting out of being robbed, but I suppose I should get on with my day. Any old hoo, do yourself a huge favor and avoid this company, they do not have your best interest in mind, they are expensive and dishonest, and take ZERO accountability. There are better and far more professional companies around here, D&D is not one of them.

  I had a friend install a new water pump in my house, but still didn't have water. Get them to come to my house and look to see what was going on and as soon as they got there I told them what was going on, they looked, identified the problem pretty much immediately (which was my friend didn't open a valve on the new water pump) and got my water running! The two guys that came were very nice and explained everything to me before they left. Most definitely recommend!! Thanks guys!!
