  I needed to replace a 30yr old heat pump system. 3 contractors submitted quotes including one from Custom Mechanical Services. All 3 quotes were within 10% of each other. Todd exhibited the most knowledge of how to use my existing duct work (non-conventional), and gave me the most precise reason why he quoted me for the system he was recommending. Shortly before install, his crew were hit with Covid and they needed to reschedule. I mention this as it's currently part of our world, but the communication and rescheduling was taken care of in a timely manner and well coordinated. During the install, the staff were clearly knowledgeable, respectful of my home, and quick to answer any questions that I had. I couldn't recommend them any higher.

  Todd and his crew just installed a new York heat pump and furnace in our home. I studied several brands, and received four different bids to replace our system. The installation was very smooth and clean, and the new system has been performing very well. Custom Mechanical has been in business for decades, but only have a few online reviews (all positive). Sometimes I think the companies with high review numbers, even when they are positive, are incentivizing the reviewers in some way that make those reviews unreliable. No one from this company requested that I give them a review. This is a very honest and quality driven company, and I highly recommend you consider them for your HVAC needs.

  From the moment I called I had a sense of professionalism from Valerie as she sought to get my AC back running. I expected to hear that due to the heat I would have to wait until the next day or later in the week. Valerie had me scheduled same day, and Ray showed up before noon. Ray was quick to diagnose and repair, with a total time of about 30 minutes. The issue was the capacitor so the cost was not bad. Great professionalism and excellent service! Highly recommend them!
