  Our furnace went out tonight, of course on a Friday evening in the winter after 5PM. We had had Countryside over to inspect our furnace last winter. Tonight we called them to see if they could come out and repair it and was told that when they inspected the furnace last year they had certainly notified us that the motor was going and should be replaced. The lady from Countryside informed my husband that they don't carry the motors in stock, and any company that does is likely closed for the weekend and we will have to wait until the middle of next week for them to order the part. It is supposed to be around zero degrees for the next three days but as the lady on call for Countryside told us tonight "we can't just avoid fixing something they told us about when they inspected the furnace and then call them on a Friday and expect them to repair it." It would have been helpful if SOMEONE would have mentioned the potential issue with the motor when they "inspected" the furnace. I pulled up the furnace inspection report from last winter after we talked to them tonight and this is all that it says: "Furnace clean & check. No problems found." Also, kudos for the WORST customer service ever. My husband is the most easy-going person on the planet and he was so offended by the attitude of their employee tonight that he was livid when he got off the phone. I would recommend people go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else, for their electrical appliance needs.
