This may be a 2 star hotel, but it is far more than that in terms of quality of stay and location. Nice people, too. This is the second time we've stayed here, this time in a king suite with our dog. Amazing view, exceptionally clean, and the SHOWERS! They were redone and amazing. Walk along the water to Sister Bay is about 25 minutes/gorgeous. Highly recommend.

My hubby and I decided to take a little weekend getaway to sister bay.  We found Country house through a booking site.
Our room was a king suite with water view. The room was very clean.  Decent view. Very quiet.  Friendly staff. Would stay again.

We, along, with our friends, had a wonderful stay at Country House Resort this past weekend. The staff was friendly & accommodating, the room was spotless & the view of Lake Michigan & the surrounding grounds was breathtaking. We plan on staying again on our next visit to Door County.

We stayed here a couple weeks ago for valentines day and it was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and kind, they even offered us complimentary snow shoes to use during our stay! The room was super clean and cozy, with lots of space and a comfortable bed! We also had a great view from our balcony of the bay, which im sure is even more gorgeous during the summer! I also love how this resort is tucked away in a little nook. We would love to come here again! Thank you Country House Resort for a great stay

My fiancé and I couldn’t have loved this place more for an anniversary weekend away. Fresh scones, immaculate rooms,  beautiful grounds, fantastic amenities and no children for a truly peaceful retreat. We loved kayaking, the close walk to town via the cute nature trail, and the warm pool and hot tub. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Very nice room with 2 floors, 2 king beds and a beautiful view of the bay. I only gave 4 stars because I had to carry my old 70 pound dog up and down a steep flight of stairs since she couldn't navigate them... I didn't know we were on the second floor when we booked the room. Also, the grab and go breakfast (due to COVID) was worse than McDonald's. If I came back again,  I would book a first floor room and plan on eating breakfast out.

Due to COVID the offerings must be individually pre-packaged and we strive to provide a variety of breakfast sandwiches, cereal, yogurt, juice and freshly baked scones.

The room was awesome!!!
It had a large whirlpool with plenty of room for two.
The balcony had an awesome view!
The grounds were very scenic.
All in all the resort was terrific, I definitely recommend staying there.

We spent a few days here, visiting Sister Bay in June of 2021. It is a fine little hotel. The place is pretty and quiet. The people were friendly and the lake, woods, and trails were beautiful.
