  The service tech was not very knowledgeable on the system we have, so instead of being honest and saying he wasn't comfortable working on it, he says it just needs replacing. I Cleaned the unit myself and it's working as it should.

  the technician was knowledgeable and friendly BUT the higher up cussed me out and blamed me for the scheduler not correctly assigning the job as a "project". I needed some registers and returns moved, new thermostats with multiple sensors and some other work. I requested someone come and get a visual and write up a quote. When the tech was out I even asked if there was anything owed for the day and he said no it would be a project and the estimate was free. A few days later I get a bill in the mail for a couple hundred dollars. I call and ask and the lady informs me that it was a service call and I had to pay. I told her I asked for an estimate for the work she said she would have someone else call me. I get a call this morning and the guy is just 100% blaming me for "not saying the right thing" whatever that means. I know I was clear about just wanting an estimate. I was ready to pay for a project in the 1000's so it's not that I care about a couple hundred it's the principal that they said one thing and did another. It's bad enough I was misinformed(lied to) about the cost but it's a whole other ball game when I get some jerk cussing me out over the phone. I can not recommend anyone work with Cook's Mechanical.

  Very impressed with the knowledge of Jeff, the repairman. The entire staff is friendly and professional. I get the feeling that everyone works together as a family. Highly recommend their services.
