My elderly mother recently got a new HVAC system with a digital thermostat (not from Condrey). She was not comfortable with the new thermostat, so I asked them to put in an "old fashioned" manual thermostat like she was used to. They went out to install it, but it was defective, so they left the digital one installed and never told me. I found out a month later when I went to visit. I called Condrey to see if they could do the work, and Renee was terrific to deal with. She understood what I wanted, and why. They could not get a manual thermostat like I wanted from their supplier, so she went to Lowe's and bought one, then set up the install. Condrey kept me updated every step of the way. This was a very small job for them, but they handled it like I was an important customer. I am not sure what HVAC work we will need next, but they are my first call. Thanks Condrey Heating & Air!

Send a message to this company at 6a on Dec 2. Then, I called at 8a as soon as they opened. They sent out a tech on Dec 3 at 8a because they are very busy this time of year. So, the tech got there I believe his name was Chris awesome guy. I told him I had to heat my place by my oven because my heat was not get hot, cold air was blowing out on auxiliary and emergency heat. He fixed the problem😄. Then, said it was $300 dollars😞. I wasn't expecting to pay out of pocket and the lady I talked to didn't that. So, I thought they would bill me. I've only had this unit for maybe 2-3 years and I have a 10 year warranty on it so the price went down. I only had $60 on me so I gave it to the tech and the lady on the phone wanted him to take the part off leaving us with no heat again until I pay the money 😞. I told her I need to go to the bank to get the money and i can pay today. She still was insisting that I paid it right then. I was like y'all are just located in Shelby I know where you guys are Give me time to get dressed get my kid up and dress and go get the money. Finally, she did we are located in Shelby behind where the old Kmart us to be you need to come pay it today. I was able to pay the bill before 11am the same day. Next, time I will know to have money on hand.🤦

I had this company come out to check my HVAC system and they charge $22 more for a service call than most of their competitors. Also the tech tried to sell me services and fix things I didn’t need to the sum of $1450. Found out later it was a bad sensor. The day the tech was here he realized I was calling around because I didn’t buy the heavy cost of his analysis so he quickly packed up and took off saying it was fixed. Well it wasn’t. He also gave me an invoice with just the price and nothing listed that he did. He also said he took a pic of the model and serial # and said he would get right back to me about whether the system was under warranty bc it is only 7 years old. Cricket, cricket..... never heard from him until I had to call the company and they finally sent me a somewhat detailed bill a week later and information about my warranty. Their excuse was they had a mix up at the office or something of that sort. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS COMPANY AS I SERIOUSLY FELT LIKE I WAS BEING CONNED and when I didn’t bite and did research on my own and started questioning the tech he took my $95 and ran...never to be heard from again, until I contacted them. Do as you please, but I’d definitely not recommend these shady, shifty eyed scoundrels to do any work for me. $95 for nothing!

Good Morning Eric, We are sorry that you feel the way that you do in regards to your experience. First let us address your review point by point, since our attempts at bettering your experience were ignored and disregarded. We strive greatly to ensure that our pricing is on par with the other local and reputable HVAC companies within the county. In addition our technicians have never, do not currently, and will not EVER be paid on up-selling/commission. That is simply not how we operate here, so to insinuate such a claim would be incorrect. The price you are mentioning in your review is not substantiated with any context, simply dramatic effect. $1450 would be our price to change out the reversing valve on your specific piece of equipment IF it wound up needing to be replaced. We offered to come back at no charge to confirm repair/diagnosis and even refund your money. With that said, our technician was able to get the reversing valve to operate properly, and when he left your system was functioning properly. As we mentioned to you multiple times on the phone, we would never want to see someone have to spend that sort of money replacing a reversing valve, or any part for that matter. As you stated in your review, your system is seven years old. We confirmed the install date and the company who installed it, with the model and serial number that our technician provided. We explained to you that because you are the second owner of the home, we are not allowed to file a warranty claim in your name, as that would be fraudulent. In addition we provided you with the name of the company who originally installed the system to see if they had a work around for the warranty issue. To your single fair point above, you did receive a delay in proper paperwork, to which we apologized exhaustingly and explained to you that we have recently changed our office/field management software to a cloud based system, and there have been some kinks. Again, that falls on us, and we are extremely sorry for any inconvenience. To summarize, we have been faithfully serving this community for 50 years, and will continue to do so in the same manner that has gained the trust of our customers and success within the industry. We believe in treating every customer the same way we would want to be treated, with nothing but honesty and respect. Again, we are sorry your experience has caused you to resort to online name calling and slander, and if there is anything else we can do, above what we have already attempted to do, please let us know and we will happily do so.
