  I have used Comfort Systems of MT for servicing my furnaces at my rental property and my primary residence. Their response time is always good and reliable. November 2021 Update - A pilot light to our furnace was out at a vacant property in Bozeman. Upon arrival in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, their technician identified a block in the system, cleared it within 15 minutes, and lit the pilot. All good - UNTIL I was presented with a bill for $369. They charged an arbitrary amount of $250 to clear the obstruction (probably a dust-bunny) and an additional $119 diagnostic fee for finding the block. In total, the tech was at the property for 32 minutes. Ring camera confirmed. When I logged a complaint about the amount charged for the basic visit (no parts involved) their Ops Manager defended their charge by saying they often work in dangerous conditions, have highly trained techs and boasted that they do work for the Yellowstone Club. I had expected an industry standard minimum charge of $175 to $250 since he was there for less than an hour. The tech or their office never informed me of the minimum charge of $369. He told me he would not discount the charge and would send it to collections if I did not pay it.

  We would like to highly recommend Comfort Systems of Montana. Yesterday, Dave replaced the ignition system on our water heater, replaced the induced draft fan in our furnace, and serviced the furnace. We now have hot water and a good furnace. Dave is highly professional, knowledgeable, efficient, hard-working, personable, and kind. Comfort Systems had previously installed our air conditioning system, so we know that Comfort Systems has highly qualified employees and high quality products.   Cannot say enough good things about this company! We needed an a/c unit moved, which sounds easy, but actually involves many steps. We called several companies, and literally this was the only company who actually sent someone out to look at what was involved and gave us a reasonable quote right away. Best of all it's a Veteran owned and staffed company, which, we can never do enough to support our Veterans, so that was important to us also! When we told them yes lets go ahead, they communicated with us promptly, sent out Steven and Nate who were professional, knowledgeable and personable, and went above and beyond in every aspect of this task. Later Nate and Dave came out to follow up and check the a/c unit was running well and there were no problems. Absolutely impressed with every aspect of this company and a shout out to Rachel who did an awesome job handling coordinating all the parts of this job. Absolutely recommend Comfort Systems of Montana!
