Techs from Comfort Pros were professional and amazing. On time, worked hard, and they would make me a repeat customer just for their hard work. However, First American Home and ComfortPros NJ at the company level tacked on miscellaneous “modification” charges before the job was even started. When I contacted both offices, they couldn’t tell me what the charges were actually for and just pointed fingers at each other until I coughed up a thousand dollars while my broken furnace remained in limbo. Great work to the techs/installers. The company needs to stop padding the invoice with unnecessary charges for modifications prior to performing the job.

I had 2 services done and the first one by Joe was extremely professional and proficient! They always know exactly what the issue is and solve it! When I got the first service not only did Joe help and give us all the details of what was wrong but he came here in such a timely manner he was here early and didn’t have us waiting when we desperately needed our heat fixed!

Beware! They are incompetent and extremely unprofessional and need a serious tutorial on customer relations. They came to me through my home warranty company to fix my heat on a day the temperature was to drop below freezing. The technician who did an assessment could not do the job, and said comfort pros would have to send out another technician once the job was approved. I asked his supervisor whether they would have somebody available that day if/when the warranty company approved the job. The supervisor refused to give me a clear answer about a timeline for the fix. She quickly became rude. After much surreal back and forth where I felt like I was talking to a robot, she angrily admitted that even if the warranty company approved the order immediately, Comfort Pros couldn't get to the job that day, or even the next. Not once did the supervisor, Tonya?, acknowledge they were dealing with an emergency situation or engage with me to discuss potential options to solve the problem. She seemed completely content to string me along with evasive responses and snippy attitude. Later , a good hvac company came out to make the fix (Artisan they were excellent), they said that it wasn't such a complicated procedure at all. I am relieved Comfort Pros didn't do the work.
