  We had sewage backup and had to get a pipe replaced, so we called this company to get it fixed because they had good reviews. The whole process was a nightmare from start to finish. Every day they told us it would be several thousand dollars more to fix, on top of that our insurance company did not want to cover anything so we had to pay $30K out of our own pocket for them to partially replace a section of a pipe and then jimmy-rig the rest make it somewhat function, so we don’t have any peace of mind for the future. The best part is that they left a total mess in our front yard, dirt and mud everywhere, they even cracked our sidewalk, destroyed a section of our neighbors yard. NO property restoration included in the bill. The average person doesn’t just have $30K laying around to give away, It’s like these people didn’t give a rip whatsoever. We basically paid $30K for an unfinished job, just like if you were to take your car into a body shop and they put unpainted panels on, headlamps in the front seat, bumper hooked half on, emblem missing and hand it off to you and say “ok you’re car is all fixed and ready for pick up! Now pay us $30K!” That’s exactly what it’s like with these guys. They didn’t put the on the customers shoes to feel what the customer feels and see that their house is a home with value. If I were the owner of comfort hero’s and charged a customer that much I would go the extra mile to make sure their property looks exactly the way it used to be before the incident. Absolutely unbelievable and embarrassing that we even contacted these guys. DO NOT ever use them if you have to replace a sewage pipe.

  We had a pipe burst and called Comfort Keepers in the early AM before business hours. Call was answered quickly and Clint was dispatched ASAP. He arrived and fixed the issue quickly!! We had envisioned having to find somewhere to stay until the repair could be made but he gave us the damages, fixed the issue, and had our water back on within an hour! AMAZING!!!!

  My 86 year old mom had a small drip in a pipe that was accessible in the basement, unfinished ceiling. It took days/weeks to fill a small bucket under the drip. They charged her $589! When we called about the bill, they said “well she signed an agreement when we got there!” Don’t let their customer service fool you. Two days later, my sister had then out about replacing her air conditioner, they were $1500-$2000 more than Waterbury.. Definitely do not recommend!!!

  Lynn, we understand that not everyone is looking for or can afford the level of service that we provide. This is why we always quote upfront prices before starting any work. We went over pricing with your mother before performing any work and she agreed the price was commensurate to the repair that needed to be made to the drainage system in her home. If you did not trust your mother to make a $500 home repair purchase then you should have made the time to visit with the service expert when the call was scheduled. We provide a world class service experience for our valued clients. We also do some of, if not the best, work in Sioux Falls. Regarding the quote we gave your sister: We install Trane furnaces and air conditioners not because they are the cheapest, but because we believe they are the best. If we wanted to have cheaper prices then we would install Coleman, Goodman or Lennox like everyone else in town. Have a blessed day.
