  The experience was professional from the very beginning. And they even called to let us know the technician, Matt, was enroute! He wore paper covers on his shoes to keep our home clean and a mask as well. He also shared some important maintenance tips and was very knowledgeable.We don’t typically write reviews, but we think it’s only fair that others should and can have someone they can trust with their a/c and heating needs!

  My January 2017 electric bill was almost double the December bill. It was cold in the house & I noticed that the thermostat called for heat, but AUX HEAT Was blinking and the heat pump never turned on. I called Comfort First in Hickory (Mountain View), spoke with Donna who promised to call back within an hour. Later she advised her tech would come between 3:30 & 5:30. Jude Mayeux arrived about 4:30, promptly found the problem and corrected it. Part cost $52. Jude also checked the freon level & p tied some loose wires. I mentioned a problem with an electrical noise under the house. He investigated to find a problem with the condensate pump, which I had him replace ($96). All this was completed in a friendly professional manner for a one hour labor charge. My entire experience with Jude Mayeux & Donna at Comfort First was pleasant and based on my experience I wound not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services. Lee Pritchard 2/03/2017
