PLEASE READ THIS POST My first interaction with Climate Control was in the summer of 2018. My wife and I had just purchased a brand new home in the spring of 2018. The air conditioner was not keeping up with the cooling demand set at the thermostat. I called my general contractor for a warranty and the next day climate control contacted me. He was very friendly but, after inspection he told me to rinse off my outdoor condensing unit and change my furnace filter. I thought this was odd but, completed his instructions. I gave it another couple of days and I had the same problem. Climate Control returned again to further investigate. It turns out that they had the wrong size reversing valve in the unit causing it to not cool ( or heat) properly. They were very kind and solved the problem. I was a happy customer. Yesterday, 3/12/2019, my furnace stops working. Mind you this unit is right at 1 year old. I found that the 3 amp fuse inside the furnace had blown. I replaced it. The unit worked for about 1 minute and quit again. It blew the fuse. I tried various other things while blowing the fuse after each attempt so I called Climate Control. They arrived promptly. This time it was pointed out to me that I had a ladder hanging from some hooks along the hvac chase in my garage. He thought I might have damaged the low voltage wire within the chase. After further investigation they found that they had some bare wires grounding out in the outdoor condensing unit causing the fuse to blow. They then charged me a $60 service call fee. This contractor is friendly but, they lack the professionalism of doing it right the first time. On top of that my unit should have been fixed for free. Those bare wires should have been wire nutted or taped to prevent the grounding situation for occurring. I would not recommend this contractor.

    Response from the owner

Thanks for the post, The short was found inside the outdoor unit. This was a factory error and was hard to locate due to the fact it was not shorted all the time. We no longer sell this brand of heating & cooling system.
