Our heat went out in the middle of the night and the temperature was pretty cold in our house. I called Chapman and got a hold of someone right away in the early morning before their main store was open. She was super nice! We had someone contact us back within 30 minutes of my first call to schedule a diagnostic visit. The technician, Paul, was super friendly and efficient and got the issue fixed right away. He seemed very experienced and knowledgeable about the heater unit. Chapman was super understanding about my family having recently had Covid and some of them still on quarantine. They were able to work with us safely, doing the work while my family members in a sepera part of the house and they exercised great safety protocols in that regard. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We have used Chapman for almost 30 years. At first, they were just the name on the sticker on the HVAC in the first (and only) house we bought. Over the years, we called on them for occasional maintenance--because, again, they were the name on the sticker. They solved our problems punctually, effectively, and economically, as well as demonstrating great customer relations. Then, the inevitable happened: we accidentally (but fortunately) discovered our water heater vent had rusted open, and called Chapman. We also discovered that, due to revised city codes, we couldn't simply have the vent replaced; a new vent needed to be installed, and it was time for a new heating and AC system. Chapman's crew was fantastic: Thad explained and linked us with the excellent city energy efficiency program, which provides rebates on the replacements, helped us choose the right system, and was patient with all of my stupid questions; Tony conducted the necessary efficiency tests, blew new insulation into our attic (we hadn't realized we barely had any), and made intelligent, interesting, and educational conversation; and Ellis, Rob, and Noah installed the new system in cold, blowing rain, solved a tricky problem our eccentric house presented that they could have left to us, and were patient, hard- and quick-working, and friendly. This was a process we'd feared, and it was actually almost enjoyable--definitely a relief. And the system is terrific! We'll always use Chapman. You should, too.

From the initial phone call the entire company was professional and punctual. They were able to get someone out same day to look at our Furnace. Unfortunately, it did need to be repaired but they had a team out later that week that did a fantastic job. We will be recommending Chapman for any hearing and cooling needs.
