When we realized we had no AC I called the number that was listed on the thermostat and the call was answered immediately when the technician came out Friday 8/27 he was explained and showed me and my husband what the problem was with our unit this gentleman was extremely knowledgeable and professional he shared a lot of information with us. Today 8/31 Mike came out to install the part the unit needed he introduced himself, told me about how long it was going to take to complete and greeted me professionally. You know when you lose air in August we go into panic mode but with me panicking everyone was professional and listened to me vent but I was taken care of in the most professional manner and for that I truly appreciate everyone I came in contact with thank you so much for ensuring that my family and I AC is back up and working.

We purchased a NEW home last year in October and our brand new HVAC unit was not functioning properly starting in Nov. 2020 and was not resolved until March 2021. This led to months of huge power bills. On the first service call I was told all I needed to do was flip the breaker. After convincing them that something was wrong because of our power bill, they finally came back out. After 3 additional service calls the unit was finally fixed. McKee Homes uses Certified Heating & Air to install their HVAC systems in the Legacy Lakes Community Forum. We were told to keep up with our power bills and we would be reimbursed for the excessive power bills. Well of course the time has come and it has been a year and now all the excuses as to why we will not be getting anything for waste of power and we are out over $500.00. I was considering using them for yearly maintenance but will definitely not be as of now and will not recommend them to anyone in the NC area. You would think when you buy a new home that the builder (McKee) and the contractors that they use would stand by their products and/or services but that is not the case. Buyer beware!!!
