Our builder used this company for our new build, Trane Units. 9months with no issues but I asked them if they would come check our options due to somewhat noisy airflow on the main floor. Louis came to help us - on time, very knowledgeable, took his time to explain the options (air flow vs efficiency) and then explained to me as he made some changes to ensure I was happy with them. The installation is clean! Two floors, dual zone on one so not simple. Would recommend them to all!

Absolutely worst company ever, technicians not user friendly and do not conducted any type of trouble shoot to figure out my central heat/AC system. quickly to say it work although my down stairs was 50 degrees in a 30 degrees weather. Difficult to deal with regarding Home Warranty tickets, they do the minimum for the $100 work order price. Stay away from this company, technicians are worthless.

      Response from the owner

Hello Tashana. First, I want to express that we hate hearing you did not have a good experience. I have looked into your concern and cannot locate an account for you. Additionally, we do not work with Home Warranty or Insurance Companies, so I suspect you have mistakenly posted this review thinking we were a different company. It is easy to get mixed up as there are multiple HVAC companies in our are with "Carolina" in the name. I also assure you that our technicians are all very knowledgeable, extremely customer service orientated, and thorough. If there is anything that we can do to assist you however, please do give us a shout! Thank you for taking the time to not only post a review - the feedback from customers is vital - but also for understanding this was not a service our company provided to you.

AC stopped working during the 90 degree NC heatwave. They responded and came out same day to inspect my system. The tech who came to my house was incredible. Very nice, explained everything, gave realistic expectations on a return call. The next day someone from the office called stating it would cost almost $1k to repair. I looked up the price of the part and it was less than $200. Spoke with the tech directly and even he thought the price seemed very high. I understand companies have high labor costs and markup of parts is expected, but the office lady would not give me an itemized breakdown of the $1k bill. I thought that was very unprofessional and a little shady. I ended up purchasing the part and fixing the unit myself. A standard maintenance visit from another company confirmed no other issues are present. I paid $150 for the part. Why was this company trying to charge me and additional $800 for labor? Again, the tech was amazing. He was honest and upfront. I think these folks are highly overpriced and the fact they aren't transparent with cost lead me to another company.

      Response from the owner

Hello Heather. Thank you for the kid words regarding our technician. We pride ourselves with being a company that employs those who are not only knowledgeable, but also very customer service oriented. We also do take pride in the confidence that our pricing is fair. I looked into your concern and see that you were quoted $895 + tax for the replacement of a condenser fan motor. The part is out of warranty, so the quote you were provided included both part as well as labor. To provide some additional transparency, below is a quick breakdown of how we come up with the pricing for "labor" - as you will see it does not just include the technician's rate of pay. Thank you for taking the time for share your experience as the feedback is vital. How do we come up with our Labor pricing? (Direct and Indirect Costs) • Technician’s Wages • Employer Taxes (Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment, etc) • Employee Benefits (Medical Insurance, Retirement, PTO) • Insurances (Worker’s Comp, Liability, Vehicle, Disability) • Uniforms • Tools and Supplies/ Materials (including refrigerant if needed) • Vehicle Maintenance & Fuel • Vehicle Lease • Office Lease • Office Supplies • Office Salaries (Dispatch, Warehouse, Legal, Accounting) • Office Utilities • Professional Licenses • Professional Memberships, Subscriptions, & Dues • Continuing Education & Training • Advertising & Marketing • Warranty Procurement • (1) Year, In-house, Labor Warranty on work performed *Of course, we wouldn’t be in business unless we made a profit as well* All HVAC manufacturers require any work done to be by a licensed HVAC professional. The parts warranty with them is voided if the HVAC equipment has been touched by anyone who isn't. All of our technicians are licensed HVAC Professionals.
