Our experience with C & G has been top-notch. Their customer service is exceptional. We are building a new house and needed an HVAC system. Chad gave us the best high-end system possible (SEER 20) at the same price as quotes we received from other contractors for their standard systems. Chad's team (Scooter) worked within our schedule to install the duct work, even working evenings and weekends to accommodate us. Then when it was time to install the system itself 2 months later, Chad was ready to send his team (Scooter and Dave) the very next day after we called him. Again, service was exceptional and I highly recommend C & G.

The team at C & G Heating & Air are all Awesome! They replaced my indoor unit the day before Thanksgiving! They are all polite and neat and we never have to wait long before they get to us! Highly recommend them !

I was having A/C issues and talked to Chad. He said he could arrive same day, and I asked what the hourly labor cost was, which was $125. My tenant let me know when he arrived and left, as well as what the issue was (loose wires in the thermostat), and the problem was fixed within the hour. I expected the amount to be 125 or nearing it. He did not tell me when he arrived, when he left, or what he did, I was told by my tenant. I asked him to invoice me at my email, and heard no reply for 2 weeks. I asked for the amount, figuring it was going to be 125 and I would just send him a check, and somehow the amount was 225, an extra $100 dollars. Since I didn't know what the extra charge was, I asked again for an invoice, asking to detail labor costs, time, and if there were any extra parts or something he did that might have costed more. His reply (a week later) was "Just emailed over. This is past due by a long shot. Please send payment ASAP", which I thought was strange since the delay from getting an invoice was on their part not mine. Looking over the invoice, all it said was "Call for no A/C. Found wrong low voltage wiring. Rewired thermostat and checked system. Working properly now. $225". When I asked again what the breakdown of the price was, "No parts were replace. That all for troubleshooting and rewiring low voltage. There's no breakdown. That's the charge" and another separate email "The bill is only for $225. What are you after here? Help me understand". I think this is a rude and unprofessional response. I just sent the 225 to him, but I have no idea where this amount came from and feel cheated. I highly recommend going to another company and making sure you get a detailed quote beforehand of labor costs, and also making sure no work is done without your permission until you know exactly how much it's going to cost. My lesson to be more careful.
