  Should there not be some kind of response from the clerk's office to citizens who have made the effort to submit the required documents necessary to be excused from Jury Duty? I had back surgery on 3-8-22, received a Jury Summons on 3-15-22 (date to appear- 4-11-22), then called Ms. Ward on 3-16-22 to inquire about doctor's excuse. I submitted that excuse, along with the required notarized Affidavit, on 3-25-22, along with a copy of my driver's license proving I am 71 years old, justifying my request for permanent removal from Jury Duty list. I called today and was told by Melissa that when I submitted those documents I should have known then I was excused. Wrong!
