  Absolutely awful. My AC stopped blowing cold air a few months back. Finally I decided to have someone come take a look at it and Burkee was the first local company to appear on my search. Kyle came out and took a look at the unit and after about 30 minutes told me I needed a new compressor (the unit is two years old). He proceeded to tell me the new compressor was going to cost about $1500. After a little leg work I was able to discover the unit was still under warranty but unfortunately only the parts are covered and I would be responsible for installation and labor. After contacting Burkee they explained to me that the $1500 was in fact for the labor. Admittedly I have no knowledge of the lifespan of an AC unit but I felt as though 2 years was could not be the norm. After having another company check it out today I was told there is absolutely nothing wrong with the compressor and the issue very simply could have been a poor connection (or even something due to my own ignorance). On top of that, the tech (Kyle) left the compressor disconnected so that I would not be able to get it to work. This second company did not have to be honest with me, they very simply could have just given me a better price than $1500. Lucky for me I was able to find an HVAC company with far more integrity than Burkee. Absolutely atrocious service. I am disappointed that I have to give them 1 to be able to post this review because they certainly don’t even deserve that.

  Hey Andrew, I am sorry to hear that your experience with us was less than ideal. Our tech found several problems with your system. There was oil leaking from the compressor terminals, the plug was half off and burnt and less than favorable readings to ground. The plug on the compressor was removed so it would not run, in our opinion this would have led to a potentially hazardous situation. We strongly urge all of our customers to reach out to the office to speak to myself, John or the other owner Jason, my brother. We are always willing to work with our customers because we take pride in the service we provide.

  I couldn't have been happier dealing with this company. They found room for me despite their busy schedule and got my system up and running again after water damage. The technician, Brad, was professional and knowledgeable and even gave me some self-help tips in case of water again! Even the price was right on point, and less than I expected from an emergency call. I could not have been more happy and satisfied with the entire experience.

  The folks at Burkee were extremely easy to deal with from start to finish. I recently had a dual zone mini split AC & Heat pump system installed, and the whole process couldn't have been easier. I would definitely use them again.
