  First experience I used them to replace a broken sewer pipe. we dug up most of the dirt ourselves, the guy gave us a quote "Couldn't see it being more than $300". Once they got done we got a bill for $1100 for replacing 3ft of pipe. On top of that there was a separate issue with a collapsed pipe 10ft further down the line, that wasn't caught, so we had this huge bill and a sewer system that still didn't work. Second experience, I called and set up an appointment a week in advance so I could be off work, to get my heat looked at. The guy didn't show, so I called and the lady said she would check to see whats going on and call me back. Next thing I know theres a guy at my door, without a call back from the lady to let me know what time he was coming(as it was over an hour after the scheduled appointment). The technician determines that my baseboard heater needed replaced, he said they would get a quote for me and have someone calm, its been over a month no call. Obviously poorly managed.

  Your judgement on distance is off. We jetted your sewer, dug of 15' of line to expose. If you did most of the work yourself, you should have just continued to do it yourself. Also, your a tenant in the home, not the homeowner so its a good thing you did not have to pay the bill.

  Words cannot describe how grateful our family is for Burgess & Sons! We experienced a water heater emergency last night. Not only were they able to fit us in today for a repair but they were extremely enjoyable to talk to and work with. I can say definitively that we have found our new plumbing and HVAC company. Additionally, the individuals working on our water heater were extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. They helped me understand how to work the products and how to adjust the equipment to protect my family. If you are in the market for a plumbing and HVAC business - I HIGHLY recommend Burgess & Sons. Even if you have a business you causally use (like us) - I recommend you consider switching. Couldn't be more happy with the service we received!   Shawn and team installed a new HVAC system with whole house humidifier and totally redid my ductwork. They were very professional and did great work. Shawn was very knowledgeable and was great about informing me about the reasoning for each of his recommendations. He also came in with one of the best bids out of several that I had bid on my project. I can't recommend Burgess and Son enough. Couldn't be happier. I can already tell the difference. I won't be going anywhere else in the future.
