  Building inspector for Ashville,NC, stole my premium cigars when I was visiting the city. I was staying at the Grove Park Inn. Went to the John Boy & Billy Comedy weekend. I was lucky enough to be invited to the after party with the cast and comedians. As I was sitting outside enjoying a cigar, I went inside to refill my drink. When I returned moments later, my cigars, which were in my carrier, were now in the mouths of two city employees. When I asked why they stole my cigars, the said it was abandoned property. These two individuals were the most unprofessional and egotistical individuals I've met in Ashville. Its a shame they are city employees and flaunt it. I brought this incident to the hotel mgmt & they said there was little they could do as the individuals were city employees who they really couldn't help me. Not coming back to Ashville nor will I recommend this city to anyone else. The video and pictures of these men is now online.

  The ladies in the office at the permitting department are full of joy and are all super helpful. Always nice to see people having fun and getting the job done! I was applying for a permit to renovate my garage and was completely lost in the process, they walked me through what to do and did not treat me like a newbie!!! Thank you ladies!!
