  GE WASHER REPAIR Customer Name: Keith Fain I originally contacted GE. They could not send anyone out until the following week. I called Bowen's & was answered right away. I was given the option of having someone come out to look at the washer or dropping it off at their shop. We chose to drop it off. We got there as they were closing on a Monday at 5pm. An employee came right out & helped unload the washer & took it in the shop. I was called at 11:10 the very next morning & was told the pump was replaced & the washer was ready for pick up. The full total Bowen's charged us for parts and labor was less than GE would charge as a trip charge for just coming out to look at the washer. We are very grateful that Bowen's was so good to us. We highly recommend Bowen's for good work at a fair price.

  The technician or whatever he was called was rude .He stated that he would be to my house between 1&5p.m. that he would call before he came .I was 10 mins away & he didn't call to inform me that he was there.I rushed home with him being rude & sarcastic to be charged a $79.00 fee to inform me thar my washer could not be fixed .I will never call or refer them to anyone

  Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience, but I really appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. It looks like you needed a valve for your washing machine. Unfortunately, parts production has been shut down during the pandemic and we are unable to order the part you need. The manufacturer is also unable to give us a date when it will start back up. We will also speak with the technician about your concerns.

  My family used Bowen for years for our personal home and for the rental properties owned by my parents. My parents became quite fond of Heather over the years, she worked in the office and handled sales. She always remembered my parents, and greeted them by name. She remembered appliances we bought in the past, and knew exactly what to show us. If they did not have what we needed she would make sure to get us what we needed as quickly as possible. A couple years ago, she went above and beyond getting approval for our tenant to use one of their refrigerators over a holiday weekend when his went out and we were out of town. As my parents aged and I moved away, we were still able to depend on Heather to take care of us. I was able to call her and order used appliances for our rentals. She always took care of us, and always asked about my parents. Recently when I called to order an appliance from Heather, I was so disappointed to find out she no longer worked at Bowen. The lady on the phone gave me a hard time about not being able to come in person and pick out what I needed. I asked her to please look at our past purchases and use that as a reference. I was told that would not help due to all the used appliances being different. She wouldn't even try. Because I was in a crunch, I had to purchase/arrange delivery of a new appliance online. I am not sure where Heather went, but you need to get her back!! She put "family" into the family owned local business. She knew us by name, and asked about my parents and our lives, those are long lost qualities you just don't find in a business anymore, not to mention providing excellent customer service and making sure our tenants were taken care of when we couldn't be there.
