Follow up: Upon returning home from vacation on a Saturday night, 10/23/21, our furnace wasn’t working. Instead of calling Bottini for a late night call I waited until the following morning. A technician arrived and informed me we were out of fuel. He contact Bottini and they sent a fuel oil delivery. After delivering the fuel into the tank, the fuel delivery guy asked if the technician had put 10 gallons of fuel in the tank? (Supposedly a normal procedure). I replied no, he contact Bottini to send out a delivery truck. The fuel delivery guy, after filling the oil tank, ensured the furnace was functioning and left. On Saturday, 11/6/21 I received a bill from Bottini for 10 gallons of fuel that was supposedly put into my fuel tank from the technician. Well, as previously stated the technician did NOT put 10 gallons (or any amount) of fuel in my tank. SO, I have a service contract, I’m on automatic delivery AND I have a surplus of funds in my account and Bottini attempted to charge me for 10 gallons of fuel they did not even deliver. Unbelievable! I don’t know what is going on at Bottini but they are spiraling downhill, fast! During the routine yearly service the technician informed me that my heat exchanger was broken and I would receive a call from Bottini. I requested a second mechanic come to my house to verify this. The second mechanic informed me that due to the characteristics of my furnace and my homes structure that a false indication had been observed by the prior mechanic and that my furnace heat exchanger is not broken. Had I blindly followed the advice from the first mechanic it would have cost me $3,950 to replace this furnace. In the end, Bottini did the correct thing. But, just be wary if someone informs you of a necessary, very costly repair/replacement. Fully understand what they are telling you. And, if you don’t think it sounds appropriate, get a second opinion.

My Experience was not good. When I set up the appointment I expressed that I needed the technician to show up after 3 pm because I work until then and no one would be home. The tech. showed up at 10-11 am and I had to reschedule for another day a month from my original appointment. I again ask that you come after 3pm. I hope that the next appointment my request for a later time is considered.

Jason came to fix baseboard heat that wasn't working and made a work around as he thought we needed an electrician. After he left, we had to call again - and Jason was able to figure out that something was mis-labled and after replacing a pump, got all systems up and running. We appreciated that he was able to return same day for further sleuthing. We appreciated the excellent service!
