      Recommended 5 out of 5 stars. We recently had a nine-year-old heat pump to fail. A Google search revealed Bolton Refrigeration as a current dealer of the manufacturer. Our call resulted in a timely response. Mr. Bolton determined the inside evaporator coil had a leak and required replacement. The manufacturer informed me that it was not covered by the 10-year warranty because of their missing records. Mr. Bolton convinced them to reverse this position and honor the warranty. My dad’s experience as a retired service mechanic helps him determine if a technician is trained and proficient. Mr. Bolton was proficient in the troubleshooting. The repair was performed in a professional manner without shortcuts. He had the necessary tools, knowledge and diagnostic equipment to return the heat pump to its original efficiency. All work was performed while being respectful of property and surroundings. Bolton Refrigeration will be my first choice if any HVAC issues occur in the future.

      Do not do business with this company. We took their word for services done when purchasing our home. We are now left holding the bill for an all new unit because they didn't complete serices stated on the invoice. When we called them back out in the 90 day time frame on their warranty..Anthony couldn't have been more rude and disgusted by the fact we would question why our AC is now freezing up again (original problem). He advised us it was due to a bad air filter and that air filters needed to be changed every 30 days. Funny thing was, that one clearly hadn't been changed in a year or more. CRUMBLED when he took it out. Yet he was here March 9th to service and replace coils. There's no way an air filter should be that disgusting and causing a unit to freeze less than 90 days later on June 7th. Now yesterday we wake up to no air. Our unit freezes every time it is turned on and dethawed. Another service call and paid HVAC company determined there was almost no freon (that Anthony said was fine 11 days ago) and clearly still a leak. Thr new HVAC company confirmed 90 day Air filter change is more than suficient and we were lied to again and charged $80 for nothing. It was something he should of taken care of when supposed work was done on AC unit in March. We have since been informed of several under lying issues (condensation tubing not draining properly, outside unit coils need to be cleaned) etc etc that Bolton was supposed to inspect and let us know (the soon to be home owners) if theses were issues that would affect the efficiency of the unit. My husband contacted Anthony today, only to be told it was fine 11 days ago. So here we are..not even 60 days into our new home..left replacing our entire HVAC unit because they were dishonest and did a favor for their real estate "buddy." DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! **His response says all you need to know about what type of person you would be doing business with.**

      We were called by the home owners who owned this property before Mr Dushane. The former home owners were getting ready to sell the home and had been told by their former hvac person that there was a refrigerant leak in the evaporator coil and that it should be replaced as a corrective measure before selling the home. The unit is 15 years old. We had the discussion with the original owner and recommended that the system be replaced. But, due to the fact that the home was going up for sale they chose not to replace but rather fix the failed component. At this point Mr Duchaine was not in the decision making process because he didnt own the home and had no knowledge of anything that the homeowner was discussing with me. We were hired by the homeowner (not Mr Dushane). We verified that the coil had a refrigerant leak and showed the proof to the homeowner and real estate agent. The homeowner made the decision to replace the coil only !!!!!!!! We replaced the coil when hired by the homeowner (not Mr Dushane). Not long after the repair, Mr Dushane purchased the house from the owner that hired us. We were called sometime later by Dushane and were asked to come out and check the system. Upon arrival I made recommendations to the Dushane family to keep the filters changed frequently (every 30 days). The filter was replaced regardless of what he says. We checked the refrigerant levels and found them to be suffecient. The house was nice and cool on that hot day. However MR Dushane was never there !!!!!! Just his wife..... His compilation of complaints comes from the fact that he failed to negotiate properly with the original owner and was suckered into buying another hvac systems that he didnt need. Now he needs someone to blame it on and has hurt feelings because he failed . I would think that if he had a failure his home warranty would have covered it. He is being dishonest and is less than honorable . Keep in mind that he didnt hire us for anything !!!!!! He wasnt in the picture when the home owner hired us. He is a young kid and refuses to accept responsibility for his own failures and ignorance. Shame on you Mr Dushane !!!!! Didnt your mother teach you any better !!!!!!

      Amazing service! This man came out to my house to install a brand new unit and to this day it's ran without a single problem, and the equipment and overall installation experience was very clean, friendly, and efficient.
