  Our boiler went down and we didn't have a regular HVAC contractor that we used (hence part of the problem & we learned that regular maintenance is a real thing)! Nonetheless, after doing some research of reviews we called Bold HVAC located in Troy. They came within 2 hours of our call (we live 40 minutes drive from their shop) and replaced the broken parts in the boiler and took care of our deferred maintenance- all in a few hours. It was a painless and terrific service. I would highly recommend calling them if you have a need- very efficient, professional and affordable!

  Have used Bold heating 3 separate times and the first time was a great experience. But Bold came out to my house the first of the month in December to fix my pilot light…$345.00 later thought everything was fixed. Fast forward 2 months (end of January) started having issues with the pilot light. A tech came out and fixed the issue and said that the part was only $100 and wasn’t going to bill me right away (not a problem). Didn’t receive the bill for almost 2 weeks and called to inquire about it, said it was getting sent out the next day. Finally receive the bill in the mail and was expecting to be no more than $200…welp I was wrong…they tried to charge me $427.60. Called to ask about the price of the part because I was told $100 and they tried charging me $195…comes to find out the part was only $125…if I didn’t call to question the price, I would have never known and would’ve gotten ripped off by almost $100. Oh and the lady tried telling me I had to pay because I was coming up on the 30 days of the billing cycle…they didn’t mail out my bill until February 16th…I will never use this business ever again.

  Professional, quick response to a no heat call, Mike (Service Tech) diagnosed the problem quickly and had the heat back on within an hour. Overall it was a very customer friendly experience. I will definitely be using Bold Heating again.
