  It’s okay to admit that you don’t have the knowledge and ability to work on a system. It’s not okay to lie to a customer and then not fix their system after a week. I called on on Friday June 7 or Monday June 10, I forget exactly. They told me the earliest appointment would be Wednesday and they would try to show up as early as possible. I agreed. I explained the system we have and they stated they weren’t familiar with that specific one but that they had worked on similar systems. Bo comes out late afternoon or June 12. Looks at the system. Doesn’t really know what’s wrong but says he needs to get some adapters to be able to check the coolant method. He promises to be back the next day, Thursday. No call, no show on Thursday. No call, no show on Friday. I call and get voicemail twice on Friday. I got a return call and the gentleman stated that Bo was out sick but he would try to find out what’s going on. Got another call back stating that they did not have the adapters and that they had to order them. They then lied to me and said that the adapters would be in Monday, June 17. They asked if that would be okay and stated they would be out as soon as the adapters arrived. This morning, June 17, I get a call from Bo stating that Barkley Blevins can’t fix my system and that I should call someone else. So they wasted a week of my time, lied about ordering the necessary parts, lied about coming today to fix the system, and now I’m a week later with no fixed system. I selected them due to their many years in business hopefully others will not that mistake. I would give them zero stars, if I could.

  I have been a Barkley Blevins for many years and I use the service twice a year, in springtime for a check on AC and maintenance and in the fall for heating and last year they installed a new hot Water Heater and suggested once a year that the heater be drained in order to make it last longer. I took their advice and then they found that one of the valves(before entering the hot water heater) was partially clogged and they also replaced that valve also. It was a two man team this fall due to the maintenance of the heater and normally it is usually a one man team for AC and Heating. Very professional and extremely courteous and answered any questions that were of concern to me. So I recommend if you are in need of their service give them a try and see what you think. Ira Fink

  My parents bought a new heating system 2 summers ago from Bryant Heating and Air. the Heat went out tonite while it was in the low 30’s. My parents are in their 80's and my dad has Parkinson's. Mom calls Bryant and they couldn’t get there til sometime between 9-12 TOMORROW. She called Barkley Blevins. They were there within an hour and fixed the heat! They obviously have a new customer!!!!
