We are happy customers!! We would like to thank Baker Air Conditioning & Heating for a phenomenal job in repairing/replacing our outdoor AC unit. We especially want to thank Kyle and Peter for going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of quickly and efficiently. We were very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. The communication between us and the office (Hannah) was excellent. She kept us informed on every step of the process. You guys rock!! We highly recommend Baker AC for all your air conditioning needs; they will not disappoint!!

I called them for a freon service to a home AC system, the technician found that the compressor wasn't starting and recommended a "hard start" kit. He fortunatly had one on his truck that would do the trick and quickly installed it by connecting two push on wire leads. Lo and behold the compressor started! When I asked him to now check the freon he found it marginal on the low side as I expected. Here's why I won't recommend them, he tried to charge me $275.00 for the hard start kit. I'm experienced enough with electrical gear and recognized it as little more than a capacitor and solid state relay, about $10 in components if you bought it at Radio Shack. When I expressed disbelief at the price for the kit plus $59 for the service call and $50 for freon he offered to remove it and return the compressor to it's original state, I accepted. After he left I went online and found the same "hard start kit" for $11.98 plus $7 shipping. I don't mind a little markup as payment for experience and knowledge, but $250? That qualifies as a ripoff in my book
