  When we lived in Wapakoneta we had great service from Cook. We used them when we moved to Kenton to install a water softner system and whole house filtration system. The lines were left hanging and the filter system was not mounted to anything. Just left hanging. We'll never use them again and will not recommend them to anybody.

  When they first installed our water heater they used a false valve without warning us about a year ago. A week ago our water heater broke and my family and I were left without hot water for 5 days while we tried to call them but they were unresponsive. When we finally got a hold of them they stated that they would send someone out that day, remind you we got a hold of them at 7 am and no one showed up until 4:30 pm. When someone finally got here they were groaning and complaining about being here, they lit the pilot light and they left, which we had done many times before. Finally 3 days later our water heater was changed and installed the company told us that it would have no charge since it was a false valve that was on our water heater. A week later we got the bill and it was $250 for labor....

  We apologize for the inconvenience. At the time of the original install our company did NOT know about the bad gas valves that were on the water heater. Over the last year our water heater distributor has made us aware that some of the gas valves on those water heaters may become faulty. As customers are calling in, we are trying to replace them in a timely manner. I apologize that it is took us so long to replace. The billing was sent out by mistake and when we were made aware of it we wrote the invoice off. Again sorry for the inconvenience. But at this time I do not have any records of your transaction in our system. Is there another name it would be associated with? I want to make sure that this situation is remedied. Thank you !

  We called the company out to unclog our sewer drain, they came and used a jetter and it did not work, but they charged us $340 for nothing, then my husband and son in law went and rented a eel and used it and our water hose and that worked, and it only cost us $43. We feel totally ripped off by Cooks. We had to pay $340 for nothing!! The workers were very nice and good but we feel like using the jetter was not the right choice and cost us alot of money for nothing. And in response to the companies response to my post...The second technician only ran the eel through once and didn't flush it with water like my husband did. To be charged $340 for something that didn't work I feel is wrong, to pay a amount for them coming out yes but that much for nothing was wrong and we weren't told how much it would be before they did it if we had been we would never have had it done.

  We were contacted from the customer for a plugged sewer. We went out the same day and jetted the sewer until the line was clear. Four (4) days later they called back and said the sewer was plugged again. Our service technician went back after hours and used our large eel at NO CHARGE to the customer. Our service technician pulled back lots of tree roots, then he flushed the line again to make sure it was clear. We had not heard anything back from the customer and thought they were satisfied because we received no other calls and received their payment for services rendered. We apologize that you were not satisfied with our service and wish you would have contacted us because we would have sent a technician out again to make sure the line was clear.
