  We were converting from oil to natural gas and BA Colella came highly recommended. Brian (the owner) came to our house and spent an hour with me answering all of my questions regarding the conversion to gas, the new boiler, and all the paperwork involving New Jersey Natural Gas (pertaining to rebates, financing, etc). I felt very comfortable with Brian and after he left, I got several other estimates, but BA Colella was always going to my choice. Brian came in March 2020 and gave me the estimate, however, due some circumstances (that were my fault) I never signed the contract. In September of 2021, I called BA Colella and they gave me a new estimate and I promptly signed the contract. Brian had his guys come two weeks later to run the gas line into my house, including stubs for future dryer and range hookups. Matt and Connor were great, they were very polite, clean, efficient, and were always there to answer my questions. In November 2021, BA Colella came back and actually did the conversion and installed my new NTI Gas Combi Boiler. Matt and Connor did the install over two days, and again were courteous, neat, and efficient. The second day Matt and Connor finished up and BA Colella had some other employees on site to help. Those employees were as polite as Matt and Connor. Brian stopped in over the two days checking on the progress and asking me if I had any questions. BA Colella was extremely clean, given the fact that they had to remove a 20 year old cast iron oil fired boiler from my basement, you would never know that I had a old boiler in my basement. BA Colella's office staff was also extremely helpful, with being in constant communication regarding scheduling, permits, and paperwork. There was very little paperwork that I had to complete, since his office staff handled most of it. Brian runs a first class operation and made an nervous homeowner with a million questions, feel at ease during this process. Our street recently had gas lines put in the street, and there are several others using BA Colella to complete their oil to gas conversion.

  We had the works done. Replaced furnace and water heater, and dual zone, thermostat,air, they even fixed piping and some duct work toale it look, and it does, nicer. Brian was incredibly knowledgeable and the quote was great and quick! Rich and his apprentices were on time, neat, friendly, and really took pride in their work. We are extremely happy and highly recommend them. From the first call on it was a pleasure to work with a company who obviously cares!

  Brian and his team are top notch. When I needed my furnace replaced, Brian came over, told me what he wanted to do, gave me an estimate and then did exactly that. Not always the case when working with contractors. Katrina and the office staff were quick to get back to me with answers to any questions I had, making the whole process stress free. And when I tell you the technicians go above and beyond, believe it! Rich literally saved my Thanksgiving. These guys are neat, clean, true pros. 5,stars aren’t enough for B.A. Colella !!
